Despite a couple of negative views we found the sushi offerings in this splendid old Place des Ferblantiers restaurant to be as good as anything we have experienced in the UK. Ultra fresh salmon, tuna, a white fish (grey sole or similar?) with squid was more than acceptable. The soy and chilli dips were good also but the surprise in this title came with the "hidden" pistachio coloured wasabi paste lurking under my salted cucumber relish (nestling alongside the pink pickled ginger wafers). Hot! We ate on the terrace overlooked by the nesting storks.

Took a while to find this restaurant, not well signposted but well worth the effort. It was 40 c all the time we were in marrakech and the water mist that is spayed out above the seats was a more that welcome surprise as we sat down. The ice cold beer was even more refreshing and watching the storks on nearby buildings as the call to prayer sounded in the background was very relaxing.
We had not intended to eat here but decided the cool surroundings were too much of a pull to not stay a while....or was it the ice cold beer! We both had a very tasty chicken dish with some salad and bread a little bit more expensive for food and beer but worth it in the surroundings and cool spraying water vapour. This Kosybar is indeed that and well worth the effort to find it in the corner of a square near the Bahia Palace.

We have taken breaks in Marrakech for the past 5 years, before moving on to Essaouira, and this has become a reguler place to relax, eat & drink during a hot day after a few hours of sight-seeing and/or shopping. We have got to know the Waiters very well and are always made very welcome. This year we were there when City thrashed United 6-1 and we had taken along a City scarf for one of the Waiters - it was a great time and place to celebrate the occasion together ! The food is excellent and the price of the drinks are 'mid range' compared with the rest of Marrakech Restaurants. The Sushi dishes are 'to die for' and accompanied with a bottle of Rose wine, are even more divine. The views are magnificent with its closeness to the Badi Palace walls and resident Stork families.

I only drank here so can't comment on food. This is a modern, stylish bar that has a great rooftop view to La Koutoubia and the area. Had lovely wine and Mojito. about £4.50 a glass of wine and £6 ish a cocktail. Was recommended by a friend and have already recommended to another friend who is there now.

We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food, but we had a couple of drinks here on two separate evenings. The service was good. Prices are at London levels. The walls of one of the old palaces are close by.
