The location was great, nice lawn to look out over and covered outside seating area. Decor was modern and clean.
Food was 'modern-french' style, not too expensive, but there were cheaper places along this road offering a similar fayre.

If you're looking for somewhere authentic and Moroccan, you'd be in the wrong place. As my friend and I had eaten Moroccan food for several days, it was nice to go here and have a more Western European experience.

No problems with the food. Everything was well above average.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, but not too strongly.

We went to the bar twice. From the outside, it looked pretty good. A trendy place serving cocktails with nice decor.

The first time we went was ok. We were largely ignored by the waitresses though, who seemed more intent on preening themselves and dancing.

The second time was appalling. We went along during happy hour and had a beer each. We then tried to order another beer each and were told that the place did not have any beer. At all....(!). After we said that we weren't that fussed and asked for the bill they mysteriously found some beer, but only the most expensive stuff. Fine. We ordered that.

We were then heading off and so asked for the bill. The waiter came over and told us the total (the first time we had been given a bill). It was blantantly too much. He claimed that he had mixed it up and thought that we had each had two beers during happy hour. We pointed out that, even on that calcualtion, it was stil wrong. Anyway, after asking for the menu to look at prices, he agreed the correct amount.

When he brought the change back to our table, it was all in coins. We counted it and he hadn't given us the correct amount (quite a bit less). We went in to remonstrate. The waiter confirmed the amount he had given us back. When we pointed out that this was not the correct amount he then asked us if we would like the rest back. All of this happened in front of the chap that seemed to run the place, who said and did nothing

A really disappointing experience. Nice surroundings, but too many deliberate attempts to swindle. Don't bother

We went back to the restaurant, because of Mohammed, a great host. We had such a good time that we went back twice. Food was reasonable, but the hospitality from there host more than made up for it. I believe he was the one that made the restaurant full!...and you can drink alchol also outside!

If, like us you do like a drink or two, then head to Berts between 7-8.30pm for the BOGOF happy hour, sit on the sofa, have a couple of drinks and then head off to the hustle and bustle of the main square!
Its a cool little bar, we did not eat but food "looked" ok.
Enjoy!

This restaurant has lovely decor but don't be fooled because it ends there.
The staff were hardly near our table for long periods of time and my partner got food poisoning from here eating a fish dish. The fact that it was pretty empty late at night should have been a warning sign.
I wouldn't go for something to eat here again even if I was starving!
