“Best Hotel in Morocco”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2013

We spent 5 days at this beautiful hotel and I can't recommend it highly enough. The rooms are stunning, the grounds of the hotel are the nicest I have ever seen - its so lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds singing in the morning.
Its a great place to have children, particularly fussy eaters, as the kids menu is available in all the restaurants at the hotel so parents do not have to be confined to Italian restaurants. There's a great Moroccan restaurant worth trying too.
The staff at this hotel were so incredibly accommodating that we felt very special. Nothing was too much trouble. There are 2 great pools - one adults only and the other for children - but to be honest there was never a time that the kids pool seemed overrun with children.
If you are looking for a relaxing and luxurious experience in Marrakech you really need look no further. This hotel ticks all the boxes, and we are quite picky customers!

myself and 2 friends took a long weekend away to marrakech and decided to splurge and stay at the Four Seasons. the hotel is lovely, stunning. from the moment you walk in. the sweet smell of rosewater, the lovely flowers, the tea...a great welcome. sadly, we weren't upgraded due to a "full hotel" though it seemed empty to us. the pool was fabulous and empty. we enjoyed our first evening in the bar, seated outside. they provided warm blankets as the temperature dropped. the room was nice, not too small.
a few of the hiccups:
-concierge wasn't too friendly or helpful. didn't seem to have lots to recommend other than their normal list of spots -wasn't willing to change it up a bit.
-we had to call for our room to be cleaned
-we had shopped quite a bit more than expected and called for their help with packing materials to properly wrap our items for the bag check at the airport. they did a poor job and when we asked them to provide us with the materials and we'd do it ourselves, they claimed it was too dark outside to find materials.
-seemed the staff wasn't completely aware of the timings of the hotel restaurants. one person told us a certain restaurant was open/but it wasn't. another person had no idea.

overall, a lovely hotel, just not up to Four Seasons standards.

Dear guest meganturnas,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us. I am of course saddened to see that there were some 'hiccups" and I would love to speak to you to find out a little more about them. Rest assured we have addressed these issues with our team, in particular, the knowledge about timing of restaurant hours. I inivite you to call me at ++212 661 46 73 58 to discuss these items in more detail.
Kind regards,
Holger Frehde

Stayed here for 2 nights on business, staff were very attentive and helpful. My room was in the main building, a ball of string would have been useful to find my way back the hotel is a maze if corridors but there was always someone to point you in the right direction, room was huge with separate dressing room and a bathroom the size of most bedrooms! Spotlessly clean and everything and a bed to die for, everything you would have expected of a 5star hotel. My balcony overlooked one of the resort pools and beautiful gardens. Breakfast was once again 5 star, All in all a fantastic few days it would be very easy to stay here for a week not appreciating the real Morocco which would be a shame. Unfortunately during my stay I got food poisoning probably not from the hotel but eating out but it showed how important it is to be careful when choosing your food and drink.

me and hubby visited four seasons , and we were hugely impressed. The resort is beautiful, with the décor so warming and inviting and typically moroccon. The service is outstanding , the food delicious, however the drinks are largely overpriced. The hotel is so tranquil, and the hotel pays minute attention to detail eg, the smells in reception on arrival. the décor and courtesy shown to us on arrival. The green tea with mint and the gentleman who serves it is exceptional in reception. The lifeguards are also so friendly and courteous. The room was outstanding. The hotel was outstanding and we would certainly visit again, We visited three restaurants two being in the new town , and one in the medina. The hotel staff were so helpful in arranging transport for us and we were grateful. One thing to be aware of however, On one occasion however we ordered a taxi to the medina to a restaurant via the hotel staff, The taxi driver took us and on arrival we were immediately met by a young boy who we automatically thought was from the restaurant. He however led us to the restaurant and then a few metres down alleyways to the square in the medina and then demanded huge amounts' of money off us. On reflection we realised that the taxi driver had phoned somebody during the transfer and stated we were from the four seasons and now we realise that we had been set up so this boy would meet us by the taxi driver. This was very upsetting and although not the hotels fault we completely trusted that we were safe in the taxi that had booked for us by the four seasons. A great advantage was also free use of the internet which was as bonus. Breakfast was delicious but pricey, hotel overall though was magnificent .Thanks for a great stay

On all counts (including prices!), this is one notch below La Mamounia, the grande dame of Marrakech hotels. It is still what you would expect from a Four Seasons property - spacious rooms, great service, nice gardens, excellent gym, very good conference facilities. It is well situated in town. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly underwhelming, but they have excellent eggs tagine à la carte.

My wife and three of our children (21, 19 and 18) stayed here for 6 days at the end of March 2013. We choose the hotel because we had a successful stay at a Four Seasons Hotel in the UK last year and we wanted to visit a warm country and not to travel too far.
Arriving at the hotel was wonderful and we felt immediately that we had done the right thing. The atmosphere was very special. The service was excellent as one would expect from a 5 star hotel.
The rooms were lovely and we were able to relax and forget our cares for a little time.
The hotel has two pools with one for adults only and therefore quieter for just swimming. The fitness facilities were good as were the restaurants. We chose a different restaurant each night as well as travelling into Marrakech (2 miles) on a couple of occasions to eat. Breakfast was lovely.
The hotel is clear that it seeks to cater well for children and it does (even big ones!).
The staff were never-endingly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Worth a special mention was the pool manager/lifeguard and the manager of the outdoor restaurant.
It was very expensive for five of us to stay there and we couldn't afford to do it more than once a year but I am increasingly coming to the conclusion that it is worth choosing such a hotel/chain for the certainty it offers for the holiday we want.
