“A real adventure!!”
Reviewed 7 October 2012 for a stay in June 2012

A truly wonderful experience, from start to finish! Simon, was particularly helpful, with our booking, organising any trips we wanted, suggesting restaurants, etc. As a group of 6 women, looking to experience a bit of an adventure, Marrakech, ticked all the boxes!! The staff at Riad Laksiba are professional, considerate and will do all they can to ensure your stay runs smoothly.
Mohammed showed us the way to the Souks, gave us maps, booked restaurants and carried a very heavy table & chairs up to the top of the Riad, so we could dine al fresco!!!
The breakfasts made by Nadia and Raja were excellent too, all with a smile!
A big thank you to Hitcham who drove us safely up the Atlas Mountains and organised our trip to stay in a Bivouac in the Sahara, eat a delicious tagine on the edge of the mountain and drink mint tea with a wonderful berber family, experiences that will stay with us forever!! Congratulations Riad Laksiba, you are proof that fantastic, value for money accommodation and service really does exist!!!

“Jewel in the crown of bustling, vibrant Marrakech”
Reviewed 6 October 2012 for a stay in September 2012

I stayed here on my own for 3 nights in September just gone and would recommend the place to absolutely anyone. I was mildly apprehensive going on my own to Morocco but I couldn't have had a better trip, mostly thanks to Riad Laksiba and the people there!

Beautiful Riad, great location, FANTASTIC food and as if it could get any better the people make it truly magical. Owners Simon and Fiona are incredibly generous, engaging, interesting and helpful hosts, Abdelhamid and Mohammed will do anything for you and the ladies are always very sweet.

Only a 10 minute walk from the main square, in the safe, clean Kasbah area, endless suggestions, help and advice on what to see and do, the best breakfast you'll find in Morocco AND the most delicious traditional evening meals, great conversation whenever you feel like it or privacy when you'd prefer it... just a few of the things that ensured I will go back as soon as I can!

Thanks everyone for a wonderful stay xx

Thanks Rachel, we too enjoyed your company. You fully immersed yourself in Kasbah living and really got to go native with both locals and the ex-pat circuit. A truly interesting Guest with great stories. We very much look forward to your return visits. All the very best. Simon xx Riad Laksiba

“When can we come back?”
Reviewed 22 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Me and my sister stayed here for 4 nights in September, and it was honestly one of the best things about our entire trip!
Firstly, the Riad itself is beautiful, clean, cool, all you could ever ask for. The location is really nice- in the Kasbah region, it feels safe, is well lit and policed. Even as two young ladies we didn't feel unsafe at any point! The main square was about a ten minute walk away.
Secondly- the staff properly MAKE this place. They could not be friendlier and more helpful, but also not intrusive. Both the guys went out of their way to show us around, suggest things to do, help us arrange tours/tickets etc. And the ladies were also just as lovely and made the nicest breakfasts ever. I really rated that the breakfast was just whenever you woke up, no set times or anything. Simon, who owns the place, is also a pretty cool dude.
After two nights we went on a two night excursion into the desert, and on the way back we were really looking forward to coming back to Laksiba for another two nights.
So in summary, we would stay here again in a heartbeat, in fact we would never stay anywhere else in Marrakech. I would strongly strongly encourage anyone else to do the same!

“A haven of tranquillity in a vibrant city”
Reviewed 2 September 2012 for a stay in June 2012

I stayed with my girlfriend for a week this summer, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Tours can easily be arranged to the waterfalls or other cities. The main square is a short 10 minute walk away where locals sell there goods, this is where we ate each night, my advice would be to pick a stall and just sit down as the majority serve the same food and the locals can be quite pushy at times

“Fantastic and Friendly”
Reviewed 31 August 2012 for a stay in May 2012

We stayed for my friends 40th Birthday. We hired the whole Riad for 3 days. From the moment we arrived to the time we were dropped at the airport we were treated like super star guests. Nothing was too much effort to arrange or produce at the last minute. Believe me we where a demanding set of guests and the staff looked after us from early doors to late nights.

The Riad is in the old Mediana and about 15 mins from the square at a normal walking pace.

Thank you for such an amazing time and for so many happy memories.
