The hostel had a warm atmosphere with plenty of common spaces for travelers to share their stories. The staff were wonderfully friendly and made you feel welcomed from the instant you arrive.
If travelling with friends, best to book out a whole room as the they are fairly small. Make sure to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper! There are also limited plugs, so make sure to bring a cable extension. It also helps to bring a sleeping bag as the beds are certainly not particularly comfortable. Given the price though, Waka Waka is an excellent choice.

Room Tip: Try to book out a whole rooms if travelling in a group to avoid being disturbed by late night arrivals. Essential to bring a cable extension if you have many electronics to charge as there is only one socket per room.

We loved this place. Very sociable, friendly welcome, happy atmosphere, we were treated very well, brilliant owner. Great roof garden. When we moved on (around Marrakech) we would actually come back to visit Waka Waka often because we were made to feel so at home!

Great location and it is cheap. But there is nothing special about it. Bathrooms are quite shabby, dorm beds are really hard (feels like sleeping on wood). Atmosphere and breakfast is nice. But there are no lockers for your valuables!

it was an experience we will never forget! Decorations, ambiance and tea waka waka one receives is the total Moroccan hospitality. We took advantage of the terrace to enjoy some sun and lounge in the shade. We always feel like home and we always greeted with a smile for Personal very nice. Everyone is super friendly and they even give hugs! They helped us in a situation not very nice and we felt at ease. This is one of the best hostels in the world

Room Tip: I would recommend the hotel waka waka a day to those who want, and a wonderful and exciting experience,

It was our first choice of the hostel and we never regreted it.It is a perfect hostel for the large groups and backpackers and good value for the money you pay. It is in a good location, close to the Jemaa el Fna - main square and souks as well as to the new part of the city, everything can be easily access just by walk. Guys working in the hostel are extremely helpful and will deal with all your issues and desires, we had some good trips organised with them. I will definitely recommened it to everyone and would love to stay there again. Well done, Waka waka!!
