Description: In the hotel’s Le Jasmin restaurant our aim is to provide high quality cuisine, for outside diners as well as residents, based on a series of daily-changing set menus and two gastronomic à la carte menus featuring a varied range of sophisticated dishes, including vegetarian options. The emphasis is on modern French cuisine, in addition to a full range of classic Moroccan specialities, all prepared from fresh local produce by our Moroccan chef and his experienced local team. Since early 2011, however, following employment of a top consultant chef from France, gourmet visitors to Les Borjs de la Kasbah have been treated to a dining experience of an even more memorable standard. In February 2011 we invited Olivier Pichot, former head chef at the Trianon, Paris (where he obtained 2 Michelin stars before handing over the reins to a certain Gordon Ramsay), to have a look at our menus, as well as every other aspect of catering at Les Borjs de la Kasbah and to make recommendations. The main aim behind the review of dining at Les Borjs was to raise the bar a little by presenting a number of newly-created, refined dishes in the French style but imbued with the unmistakeable influences of Moroccan herbs and spices. In addition to the daily-changing menu (200 dh) an interesting selection of à la carte dishes is available, including vegetarian options, with traditional local specialities being featured in a separate Moroccan menu. DinnerThe à la carte menus work out at around 300 dh for 3 courses, excluding the cost of inexpensive Moroccan wines. In addition to these two à la carte menus, offering French and Moroccan specialities, we also offer a daily-changing, 3-course table d'hote menu, with more limited choice, for 200 dh.Moroccan evenings Subject to numbers, these are organised on a regular basis with a traditional menu, local musicians and dancers. Good food, good fun!

“Worth finding this restaurant if you're not a guest of the hotel”
Reviewed 1 April 2014

The atmosphere is quiet and romantic; the cuisine is authentic Morocco but presented with style; the service is impeccable and accommodating...and you may even find some live entertainment with a prix fixe menu.

“Fantastic Service, Nice Atmosphere”
Reviewed 18 March 2014

This restaurant is in a riad near where we were staying.
It is set in a covered courtyard with a traditional Moorish design, so had a nice atmosphere.
The waiting staff were delightful. Very friendly, cheerful and clearly enjoying their work. They could not do enough for us.
We ate a traditional Moroccan meal. The moussaka starter was excellent. The mains were good but as usual in Morocco, it would have been good to have more vegetables.
Definitely worth a visit.
