“Peaceful with excellent customer service”

This hotel was great value for money, especially considering the breakfast was reasonably large and well thought out, unlike can often be the case with cheaper hotels. Tricky to get to when we arrived due to the Grand Prix, several roads were closed, but the reception staff sent somebody out on a scooter to guide us there, which was much appreciated. Junior suite was lovely with a balcony overlooking the immaculate pool. There are several building sites around the hotel, but noise was minimal and it certainly didn't affect our stay. Overall, a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in good riads and hotels in Marrakesh...this is the best.
Adam, the hotel owner, is exceptionally friendly and helpful...he is also half Scottish and so bridges any cultural gaps!
The hotel is small which we really like and the rooms are large, comfortable and different from one another. The pool is a great bonus over most riads.
Four of us arrived on Tuesday, by Friday we were fourteen; family and friends. Adam organised a delicious Moroccan meal in his dining room for all of us on the Friday night.
There is no restaurant in the hotel and no alcohol is sold but Adam and all the staff are happy for guests to bring any food or drink from the nearby supermarket and consume it in the hotel. They provide glasses, ice, plates, knives, a corkscrew etc etc. This was brilliant for us, as a group, as we could create our own party every evening...with consideration for the other guests of course.
The hotel is some distance from the medina but a shuttle is provided to the edge of Djemma El Fna between 11 and 6.
At the moment there are loud construction works happening next to the hotel to replace old water pipes but they will soon be finished and we will be back when they are done.

This hotel is what makes me feel an afterglow of happiness when I think of marrakech. Great service good breakfast amazing room and really cold swimming pool.the staff were above the standards I ve recieved in a 5 star hotel in england , courteus and respectful yet willing to have a laugh.

I applaud the little details that made me smile during my stay here.

Swimming pool froze my balls I must admit.

A minor setbeck to what is an overall an excellant stay. Thank you

As one of Alison W's fourteen friends, I can fully support everything she says about the hotel. Adam and his friendly staff looked after us superbly with friendly smiles all the time. Another point in its favour is the nearby supermarkey/restaurant and shopping mall. Very handy for the bank, ATM and the odd bit of food or drink. The hotel even stored our drink in their refrigerator and then brought it to us with glasses! If you add this to the free shuttle into town and the very short drive to the airport, this hotel is right near the top of our best places to stay. No complaints whatsoever.

What amazing customer service our large group of friends had; fourteen of us came and went over a period of seven days, and nothing was too much trouble. It really was service with a smile. Large, clean rooms, lovely pool area and welcoming communal spaces. Breakfast was generous, and we even had a special Moroccan dinner cooked for us one evening. I cannot fault the hotel or happy, helpful Adam and his team. The free shuttle was available for part of each day, with a 10/15 minute drive to the medina; otherwise the taxi was 40 - 100 dhm. Being away from the bustle of the medina added to the sense of calm and peace that the hotel offered. A real gem of a hotel; excellent value in every way. Thank you, Adam, for making our stay so special.

Just finished a three night stay at this wonderful hotel. We were picked up at the airport by the proprietor Adam and swiftly brought to the property.
We both received welcome drinks and checked in at our leisure.
Our room no12 was delightful and spotless.
Breakfast can either be taken in the restaurant or around the pool area, where you are served with a smile and the surroundings are peaceful and spotlessly clean just like the rest of this hotel. At no time are you rushed and time seems to stand still.
A free shuttle runs you into place Jemaa El Fna from 1100 to 1800 hrs.
We found our room as previously stated awesome and the terrace superb for sitting outside day or night.
The beds and pillows are on par with any top hotel we have stayed in over the years.
We cannot praise this hotel enough and would return here without hesitation. The staff are fantastic and Adam is usually around for a chat if you want (not bad for a Scot!)
So if you Are coming to Marrakesh this is the place to stay.

I have never in my life stayed in such a beautifully run hotel.
We chose the hotel via Trip advisor and only booked it as it had such great reviews.
From arrival to Departing the staff were on hand for anything and everything we wanted or needed. The ladies were beautifully dressed and was polite at all times.
The rooms were cleaned everyday and the breakfast was basic but fab.
We had a superior suite but unfortunately we over looked the building next door which did upset me a little but it didn't make a difference to how we were treated or how. comfortable we were made to feel. The free wifi made such a difference as I was able to doenload eastender. ha ja
we booked a camel ride via the hotel which was exciting and the free shuttle service was great. the driver spoke little english but did his best to understand and chat to us.
the carrefore (supermarket/ shopping mall) is the only place we found to eat until the last day when we walked a little further.
this didnt make a difference to us as we was happy to eat burgers and pizza.
All in all Albekesh House is a great hotel and no matter weather your stopping a week or a weekend you must give the hotel a try.
5 stars from us.
