A truly authentic riad to yourself in the heart of the medina. If your idea of a holiday is to truly immerse yourself amongst the peolple and culture of Marrakech, then this is the place to do just that. My husband and I travelled with our teenage daughter, staying at this riad for just over a week, and became very friendly with the local people (our neighbours) who worked nearby. This riad is wonderfully clean, and beautifully furnished with such attention to detail. We were delighted with Fatima's breakfast supplied fresh every morning and she cooked for us on a few occasions in the evenings too. Although we speak very little French, we were able to be understood.
All of the people we met were extremely helpful and friendly, even helping us with shortcuts throught the medina and souks, which can be confusing.
We were concerned that our daughter might be bored - well there was no need, as there is so much to see, and experience in Marrakesh from the Hammams to excursions to the Atlas Mountains and surrounding villages. We made many friends there, and as we left shopkeepers, came out to bid farewell, just recognising us from our strolls through the streets whilst on holiday.
We will definitely return soon, and only hope the riad will be available.
