“Second Stay and”

This is my second trip to Morocco and my second stay at La Maison Arab. The place is gorgeous and exceptional as always. I really like the new restaurant and the new pool.

Great customer service. Very cheerful and accommodating staff. Room had good lighting, great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was plentiful.

Room Tip: Jr. suites have a small balcony with standing room. Suites have a much larger balcony, that you can...

This place is really exceptional. It may not be up there with the La Mamounia's of this world but then again, the cost reflects this.

We've just spent 5 nights there and we were continually delighted by the friendly and efficient staff who can't do enough for you.

Our room (a suite in the 'old' side of the hotel) was gorgeous! It halife 'old school Morocco' feel that only enhances the feeling that you're somewhere that no one else knows about.

The restaurant and jazz bar are also exceptional. We've been to Marrakech a few times and consider ourselves experts on where to eat - particularly the well renowned restaurants that are often recommended on Tripadvisor and elsewhere. Just eat here and you'll be very satisfied!

Finally, but by no means least. Check out their country club. That place is stunning! I'll say no more than that but we will return and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Marrakech if only for the country club!

Thanks to all the staff for making our anniversary very special. We'll be back!

The entire staff was extremely attentive. The place was gorgeous! The cooking class I attended was organized, interesting, informative and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better experience...perfect in every way. I highly recommend this property.

My husband and I spent four magical days here at Maison Arabe.
Last year, my daughter and I were in Marrakech staying at the very standard Riu Tikida in Palmerie. A hammam and cookery class brought us to Maison Arabe, where we ended up spending most of our time (and sadly had to return to the "prison camp" at bed time). I vowed then, on a return trip to Marrakech, it would be to Maison Arabe.
My husband for sure was not to be disappointed!
The elements Maison Arabe has, make it so very special.
From the amazingly warm welcome from staff, the hospitality of General Manager Toufik (spelling sorry Mr T!) and even the welcoming correspondance from the owner himself Fabrizio Ruspoli. This hotel is led by a superb management team and it shows in the staff and service.
Decor: There are no words to describe the decor of Maison Arabe. Every little nook and cranny is a mystical adventure with priceless pieces of Art which arouse the senses. One is surrounded by an ambience of relaxed beauty which immediately puts one into "chill out" mode.
This is not however a "stuffy" hotel. One can feel very comfortable arriving at breakfast in a robe after a morning dip in the pool. Yes, you will want to dress for dinner in the evening, but even at lunch one day, we were happy to dine in our robes following a morning by the pool.
STAFF ; From reception to housekeeping, it is rare to find a team of staff which is 100% perfect. Score ten out of ten Maison Arabe. Special mention to Abdullah, (sp?) who looked after us a great deal, and felt on many occasions like our own personal butler. Head Barman Rachid and his great team of barmen, are excellent, and add the fun element into Maison Arabe.
The girls by the restaurant, smiling, helpful and just a joy to spend time with.
FOOD- out of this world! The lamb tegine, oooooh wonderful!!! I am gluten free and very rare do I get to enjoy bread. Maison Arabe made me very special breads which I will forever more yearn for!!!
Costs: yes, we spent a little more than we intended. My husband however never begrudes us spends when we are 100% happy and enjoying ourselves. We did overdo the champagne.. but - ooooh boy did we have a good time :)
Rooms: We loved our room, and were lucky enough to experience a beautiful suite on our last days. With a rooftop terrace to die for, quite an awesome experience! To lunch on this rooftop, and relax in the tub under the scorching Moroccan sunshine..aaaahhhh bliss!!
Our one regret, was on the night we were staying in the suite, we had already organised dinner at the Amanjena. We wish so much we had just stayed at Maison Arabe. The Amanjena was not up to par with my previous experience there. Food was poor, and having paid £350 for a bottle of Bollinger, we would expect not to have to pour it ourselves! Wont do that next time for sure! We wish so much we had stayed put in Maison Arabe, but hey, it wont be out last visit for sure.
Maison Arabe's country club is very beautiful. It could do with a better bar service, but our Abdullah came to the rescue there, quickly dashed over from Maison Arabe, and ensured our day there was simply perfect!
We are "party people" and for that, we grabbed a taxi through the day to Nikki Beach which we do love. But so nice, at the end of the day, to return "home" to Maison Arabe.
My husband can be hard to please at times, he rarely comes back from a vacation ranting on and on and on about how good his time was. For sure, he is already trying to plan another trip!
For a short haul flight from Scotland, this is a real find for us. We know we can grab a last minute break whenever we have a window of opportunity. I think Maison Arabe will be welcoming us for many years to come..
See you soon Insha'Allah

I visited maison arab last week, leaving children and hushband, to have a short break with a girlfriend. We had a great time.
The hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport. When first pulling up in the taxi we both thought,"where have we come to!" as the surroundings to the hotel are run down, however on entering the hotel we were very pleasantly surprised.
The reception staff were very efficient and friendly at all times and we were straight away given a tour of the hotel.
Our rooms were excellent with alittle courtyard in between which was ideal to have a pre dinner drink. I loved the decor, very authentic and arabic.
We were woken up by the "Call to Prayers " at 3 and 5 in the morning but the way around that was to close the windows and put on the air conditioning.
I very much enjoyed the spa although my friend was not happy with one of her treatments. The manager apologised straight away and offered something to make amends.
The hotel is 10 minutes from the souk.
We took part in one of the cookery courses, run by the hotel, it was the highlight ot the holiday.
Beautiful clean kitchen, a trip to the local bakery which was just an oven in the wall, with locals coming in to have their own dough baked, fascinating.
We had a couple of trips to the country club, very nice relaxing surroundings and great to have the chance to swim off all the delicious food!

Overall, a great hotel.

Went for a light meal, didn't quite turn out that way. We were persuaded to try a banquet and what a feast it was. The standard of food and cooking was quite superb.
