A typical four star Riu hotel in a convenient location with good on-site facilities. E- mailed ahead to ask for a quiet room which is what we were allocated. All staff seemed hard working, friendly and helpful. Excellent choice at breakfast. More limited choice at lunch and dinner than in All Inclusive hotels we have been to previously but having said that plenty on offer. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful but on last two evenings they seemed to run out of glasses at peak time. Hotel had both an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, mini golf, badminton court and volley ball area. Visited the Spa for a massage and it was clean with private rooms for treatments.
Unable to buy Moroccan money before entering the country but plenty of kiosks exchanging sterling in the airport and the hotel also had this facility. Most places seemed to accept euros and we used euros and sterling to tip until we had local money.
Visited the souks and medina on a Thompson guided tour. A vast , fascinating labyrinth of colourful and varied stalls I would definitely recommend visiting.
Weather good but take a light jacket or cardigan for evenings or shaded areas at this time of year.

This is a great hotel with fantastic staff willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a fantastic time.
we went with friends and enjoyed every second of our stay, from the bar staff ( who we spent a lot of time with ) to the entertainment staff who made sure everyone joined in and had fun, down to the chef who found time to print a recipe out for me.
    Nothing was to much trouble!
if you fancy a break in a good hotel with great weather and attentive staff then this hotel is for you.
If the manager of the hotel reads this please pass our thanks on to your staff, you should be very proud of them.
    see you next year.

Room Tip: we were next to the pool but didn't see any bad spots

Very well equipped and spacious room in a quiet part - just as we had asked for. Food in buffet restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner very good with plenty of choice. Although the bar was smokey there were plenty of easy chairs and sofas near the bar that were in a non smoking area. The staff were outstanding - as at all Riu Hotels. We had a day of rain and the entertainment staff were always there with board games etc, so people didn't get too bored. The hotel is out of the centre of Marrakech but there is a free shuttle bus into the town centre several times a day - he will even let you off near the Jardins Marorelle - so a real bonus. Plenty of sunbeds near the pool and well-kept gardens. A very good choice of hotel we felt.

We travelled April 2012 and had a wonderful break at this hotel. Food was great, it was my birthday while we were there and of its own accord the hotel sent us a special invite to dinner. Rooms and accommodation were great, only downside is no outside bar and in inside one was a bit smokey. Hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride to medina, but a welcome quiet spot once you've had enough of the mentalness!

We done a winter package with Thomsons, great value for £300.00.Transfer to hotel from airport only 20 mins,on arrival at hotel about 22.00hrs was greeted with welcome cocktail while checking in, and was then escorted to dining room where they had saved us some dinner which we both thought was a nice touch and start to our holiday.Room was spacious and had a big balcony, very big swimming pool [too cold to use].There are loads to do around hotel, tennis badminton, mini golf, table tennis etc, great if you have kids in tow. There is a free courtesy bus that takes you to the main square in Marrakech and picks you up again, this runs to a timetable that is displayed in reception. We thought breakfast and lunch was great with plenty too choose from, but we were a bit disapointed with the dinner choice, although it was always hot and there was always something you could find to eat. At this hotel they have an authentic moroccan restaurant that you can eat in during your stay and to be honest we were very disapointed with it.The evening entertainment was poor, in saying this it is the same group of entertainment staff that operate all the sports in the day and then do the entertainment in the evening work from about 9am untill midnight and probably dont have any kind of budget to work with for the evening entertainment. Finally we must recommend a little gift shop that is situated just outside the hotel it is called mohammed choop, cigerette & browse, just turn left coming out of hotel & left again and you will be greeted by mohammed, its like an aladdins cave in there, barter hard and you will get bargains galore just make sure youve enough room in your suitcase!
