We stayed here for a week in late November and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So......
The Best Bits:
Certainly the staff; its a very long time since I've seen such a thoroughly efficient, effective, friendly, cheerful bunch of people. They are led by Chantal Riviere the number 2 at the hotel who is immensely concerned that every guest has the best possible experience at the hotel and in Marrakech generally. She is obviously the dynamo driving the hotel's team.
The hotel is in its own (not so little) oasis full of palms, citrus trees, cacti, lawns and by extension a lot of bird life, singing beautifully. The gardens are immaculately kept and made us almost reluctant to bother to explore any further.
The restaurant is very good indeed. There is a decently sized a la carte plus a menu du soir as well as a surprisingly good wine list, I can recommend the reds particularly the Volubilia. We ate in the restaurant all 7 nights of our stay and quite honestly however good a restaurant is this is pushing it. The breakfast buffet is tremendous, terribly weight adding for those of us above a certain age but worth making the most of if you're going out for the day.
The location suited us very well. It made for a restful relaxing holiday. The alternative in Marrakech is most likely a Riad in the Medina. Not for us I'm afraid! I've been...We stayed here for a week in late November and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So......

The location suited us very well. It made for a restful relaxing holiday. The alternative in Marrakech is most likely a Riad in the Medina. Not for us I'm afraid! I've been to many souks and medinas in the Middle and Near East and I don't think that Marrakech's is a good one at all. One day just to see it is all you need. Deux Tours is well located, and runs free minibuses into the city for those who feel the need. But much more importantly the hotel is very well situated to get to the High Atlas which is the real glory of the Marrakech area. The front desk staff organised an excellent driver to take us up to Mt Toubkal and the Kik Plateau. A terrific day out and highly recommmended.
The Merely Good Bits:
The hotel was designed by, and I believe is still owned by, a major Moroccan architect. Each room is different, the restaurant is spectacular and just wandering through the site is delightful. But it does need just a bit of updating and some investment. This is not a show stopper but for example new loungers and surround to the otherwise lovely pool would be welcome.
The downside of the location is that if you do want to go to another restaurant for supper its not hugely easy though it is certainly doable
The Bad Bits:
There really are none. There's nothing we objected to or found unacceptable bar the weather being rather colder than we'd anticipated but that's hardly the fault of the hotel!
We had a terrific time and would recommend Les Deux Tours to all bar possibly those whose sole reason for visiting is the night life in the Medina.More
