A haven of peace, tranquility and discrete luxury in a noisy, dirty and in this March cold and rainy city. If you had enough of the constant embarrassment by local traders, so-called friends and others, (which was often the case for us!) just stay in this beautiful place - which, thank God, also has a very efficient central heating.
Outstanding rooms, beautiful garden, delicious breakfast, relaxing massage, kind but discrete service

Warm friendly welcome from the staff typified our stay. Our 'Privilege' room, with its own balcony was very comfortable, and extremely well serviced each day. the public areas were spotless, as was the swimming pool and solarium. The bar was cosy, and the restaurant exceptionally good, serving a mixture of typical Moroccan food and international cuisine at reasonable prices. The front desk staff were very helpful, organising trips and guides for us. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, and would happily return for another break, and not even leave the premises!

This hotel is the perfect place to stay in teh Medina of Marrakech: perfect location, beautiful rooms (we had a privilege and an a normal room), beautiful inner court garden with big pool; very good food, very nice personnel. Breakfast also top. We believe that the combination of this hotel with the impressions of a very unusual town makes for a great holiday. It is also a place that gives a feeling of security to their guests, whic is nice, especially when you bring children

Rooms refurbished to modern standards, set in a beautiful riad. Lush gardens with pool and wonderful rooftop seating to enjoy both sun and shade. Attentive waiters in the restaurant, meticulous housekeeping staff and helpful reception personnel. Huge choice at breakfast, ranging from a variety of Moroccan dishes tothe usual European fare. Located right in the heart of the old town and 30min gentle walk from the Djem el f'na square. Absolutely lovely and we would strongly recommend this hotel. Hope to return next year!

Just 15 mintues from the airport, Jardin de la Medina is a beautifully presented riad just a 15 minute walk from the famous Jamel El Fna square. Set off the Rue de Kasbar it is hidden away and could easily be missed, but once inside it is opulent yet understated. The gardens are full of birdsong and you have the choice of sunbathing around the pool or relaxing on the sofas on the terrace as the sun begins to set.
The food was lovely, service excellent and setting perfect.
My only criticism would be the courtesy room. We checked out at 12 but were not flying until 8pm. The room is little more than a large toilet cubicle with a shower in it. There is no room to change inside the cubicle so you are forced to change outside with only a few floaty curtains to maintain your dignity.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel/riad but hope that they listen to the constructive criticism before we return.

Dear Sir, Dear Madame
I would like to thanks again for your constructive comments about les Jardins de la Medina. we will enjoy to welcome again in our old palace. During your next stay, you will appreciate our refurbished solarium, our gardens with new beautifull trees and flowers, such as Jasmin or exotic palmtrees and, last but not least, a new, heated and confortable courtesy aera including a small dressing , two fauteuils an a bathroom including a rain swower.

In fact, this aera didnt have to be proposed to you. Usually, and waiting for the end of this work in progress, the reception is supposed to propose one of our rooms , but the hotel was full and they wanted to help you anyway. Please apologize for the inconvenience.

The hotel was very good, our room a little bit loud (123) but no problem. I think we would select the same hotel if we consider to viist Marrakesch again.

Come in through a door in the wall out of the noise, the busstle and the smells of the Casbah and you are suddenly in a verdant and lush paradise- in- microcosm...one in which the only sounds are those of birdsong. Les Jardins de la Medina is alovely cocooning, calm and restful place to stay. It is also small and personal, the antithisis of big anonymous holiday hotels. Thoroughly recommended.
