We stayed at this hotel in May for 3 nights and were delighted with our choice.

The hotel arranged our airport transfers and our tour guide and a driver to take us to the Atlas mountains. They also recommended a restaurant for the night that we didn't dine with them. We were very happy with the service offered and their recommendations.

The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff pleasant, eager to assist with any queries and very welcoming. The pool, garden and restaurant area is fabulous, chic, comfortable and calming. The food was delicious and imaginative.

We were thrilled with our choice of hotel and after the madness of city, it was always heaven to return to. Some travelers have mentioned that the hotel is quite a long way out of the centre but we found it to be a good 10 minute walk only. The peace and quiet there far outweighed a few extra minutes walking, we were never disturbed day or night.

Our party of 4 was so happy here and very sorry to leave. I wouldn't hesitate to

Like all oases in the desert you see the greenery first…then you feel the shade and the cool! The Jardins de la Medina greenery cascades into the alleyway around the door that opens into a cool, calm, fresh space where you are greeted with Moroccan mint tea. Above you towering palms amid tropical plants around the pool and restaurant. Flowering mimosa and bougainvillea full of the chatter of birds surround the paths to your room. Tables and rest areas are tucked away in the garden, above a roof terrace ideal for early morning or late evening relaxation. Moroccan-French cuisine, endless breakfasts, lunch at the pool's edge, no noise, no hustle, no bustle, no haggling. Cheerful, fun, helpful, welcoming staff, a true Moroccan experience. The only problem is that you have to leave............. !

Room Tip: Rooms 120 has a full sun open balcony suitable for sun bathing & overlooks the pool. Room 121 is a corner room with a private shady corner balcony great for relaxation, reading, WiFi-ing. 134 overlooks an interior courtyard and is very quiet. Actually all rooms are quiet except for the wonderful sound of birds and a gentle breeze.

We first visited Les Jardins de la Medina for the day at the end our trip as the temperature had soared to over 40 and our riad pool was quite small and in use. As soon as we walked through the doors and out to the courtyard we knew we were somewhere special. The day deal is very good, or certainly was for us - 350 dirhams including a 3 course lunch. The pool area and gardens are absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the restaurant as well. The staff cannot do enough for you and from the moment we arrived, we didn't want to leave. So much so that we ended up checking in for our final night and after sleeping in the king sized bed and waking up to the sound of the birds, changed our flights so we could stay another day!

The location is great for the Kasbah area, the palace and the tombs but a taxi ride away from the centre and some of the other sights. However, having spent 5 days exploring Marrakech on foot, Les Jardins de La Medina suited us perfectly. We stayed in a superior room in the main riad (I think it was 134) which also had an outside balcony. It was huge, with a small seating area and fire place with rose petals scattered in the bathroom. The second night we were moved to a solarium room which on the other side of the riad and smaller but had both a balcony and a sun terrace – a perfect place to see the stars at night. My only disappointment was with the hammam which was quite expensive and felt very rushed and not that pleasurable. However, I saw lots of other people going for treatments so it could be a one off.

All in all Les Jardins was a wonderful tranquil oasis and we would return in a heartbeat.

Location in the southern part of the Medina & inside the Kasbah is perfectly safe for any tourist. Gorgeous hotel, huge garden, big pool, rooms are big (with AC and extremely clean, bathrooms perfect) and most have a little terrace, some a private sunroof. Staff is more than kind, service incredible. Breakfast's included served in-or outside.
Ideal for a long weekend or a week holiday if you want total peace.
Lunch there is nice as well. Menu and dishes are ok, not overwhelming.
Go out for dinner and try El Fassia or Fendouk, both incredible - even locals go which isn't the case @ other places (too expensive or not good).
The Spa on top floor is one of the best I've ever been to. The massages and facials are 5 star xxl.
I will stay there again in a room w/sundeck.

The arrival was good and we had a drink within minutes of walking through the well hidden entrance. We found the staff cheerful and very helpful. The pool and gradens were lovely and a pleasure to sit in. The room (I think it was number 128) was large with a sitting room but our floor was the kitchen ceiling which meant you didn't get a lie in much after 6am.They sure could clang those pots in the morning! It was the first room on the left, with two circular windows on 1st floor which you could see looking from the restaurant. We decided to embrace the early morning call and were always first for breakfast giving us a great choice of the excellent fare offered. We really enjoyed the service here and had a few mornings lie in at the next place on our tour.

Room Tip: The rooms near the restaurant kitchen will get you up early and stop you having an early night.
