This was a perfect and luxurious oasis in a very busy and hectic city. The staff very helpful. We had a room with balcony and solarium overlooking the pool and garden. It was very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and very peaceful - wonderful to sit and rest weary feet! Food was good and breakfast delicious.

My partner and I stayed at Les Jardins de la Medina for four nights mid February, our first time to Marrakech. We felt like going away for some winter sun for my birthday and to somewhere that was a short flight away. On arrival we were greeted with friendly reception staff, mint tea and some nibbles so an excellent first impression!

The hotel itself is in the most amazing setting with restaurant and bar area, immaculate gardens and pool, and roof terraces with views of the Atlas mountains. The staff are extremely hard working and can’t do enough for you, I would like to give Yousef a special mention, nothing was too much trouble. On my birthday the staff presented me with a gift which was extremely thoughtful. I had a Sultana Hammam which was thoroughly enjoyable and the therapist was experienced and friendly.

The little touches the hotel provide in the rooms - daily bottles of water, pastries, chocolates, rose petals, an invitation to welcome drinks - all went that extra mile for us and we would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Marrakech.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 1st floor

My wife and I recently spent 5 days at Les Jardins before going on to Agadir. On arrival, we were offered a glass of tea whilst we were waiting for our room to be prepared. Our room was at the further end of the delightful garden and proved to be quite large with a 4-poster bed. The buidings were from a former palace of a royal princess so they were a charming mix. On the upper floor (the solarium) there is a fine view of the city and the spectacular background of the Atlas Mountains. The garden has a heated pool, many palm and other trees and at least 2 tortoises! Breakfast was laid out in the restaurant and coffee and squeezed orange juice served at the table. We usually went into the centre of the city for evening meals where there are many restaurants and food stalls in the square. Marraakech is a fascinating, bustling city with so much history. We would love to go back some day and would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Choose an upper floor not too near the restaurant/bar.

Booked a "Superior Double" for a 4 night stay at end of November. It was spacious.
However, the room was on the first floor immediately above the main delivery door to the kitchen through which goods arrived from early morning. It also appeared to be the staff smoking area and general meeting place so we were disturbed very early every morning. The air-con was even noisier and we preferred not to use. On the inside (courtyard ) the bedroom windows opened immediately onto an outside staircase leading to other bedrooms so there was no privacy without closing the shutters. There was no outlook from either set of windows.
The staff were friendly and the small enclosed garden attractive.

Room Tip: Rooms on first floor, on side of hotel at back, suffer from deliveries and noisy kitchen entrance.

Me and my husband booked this stay as a valentines getaway and we were absolutely delighted with the hotel. We were greeted at reception by Yousef who looked after us throughout our trip. The hotel itself is beautiful. On arrival we were taken to the bar to have a sit down and were given mint tea and snacks. This was a lovely thought after our journey.
We were promptly checked in and shown the grounds and our room. We booked a comfort room and it was gorgeous, clean and spacious and had rose petals everywhere, so romantic. The bed was very comfortable.

The food was the best food we have had in a hotel for a while. It could honestly compete with Michelin star restaurants. It was tasty, superb presentation and so imaginative. We went half board and honestly it was worth it. The food is of high quality and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. We also had various cocktails and wines with our meals and during the stay and they were all gorgeous. The valentines day meal was great as well, my husband was given a rose to present to me! We were tempted to try elsewhere but after having the food here we could not go anywhere else because it did not compare. We looked forward to it everyday. The service in the restaurant was also excellent.

On Valentines day we also wanted to go out and a taxi was organised for us. The taxi driver was so good he only took our fare at the end of the night. I have never known so much trust in tourists!

The weather was wonderful and we could sunbathe and get a tan. The terrace is the best place for quietness and is the best sun spot. This also meant we avoided the pool which the kids loved. Although the children do not bother you as it only adds to the wonderful atmosphere.

We also had massages at the spa. These were excellent! We booked a couples massage but unfortunately one of the other ladies was in an accident so my husband had to wait his turn. But this meant I could sleep in the spa treatment room whilst he had his massage done. My body felt great!

When we left we really missed this hotel, we had such a wonderful time. We just want to say thank you to all the staff who made this stay special.
