We so enjoyed our stay here last week for four nights with our 16 year old daughter. It was within 15 minutes walking distance of the centre of Marrakech to the Jeema el Fna market place yet was an absolute oasis of calm away from the madness and hassle of the city. The gardens are beautifully maintained around a lovely swimming pool. It was really relaxing and much needed after a day in the souks!
The breakfast offered an extensive choice of local and international foods. Husband enjoyed omelettes made to order and daughter loved the little speciality pancakes. After busy days out we also enjoyed an evening meal on the terrace beside the garden and pool. The staff are attentive and friendly but not intrusive.
Our standard room was very spacious and offered two rooms for the three of us.The settee in the lounge area became a standard sized bed for our daughter. It was all impeccably clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. We had a lovely balcony terrace overlooking the gardens with chairs and a hammock.
Would strongly recommend this for your stay in Marrakech.
Nb. Eating in the night market is a fun experience and a good introduction to Marrakech if you arrive late afternoon/evening. The orange juice is fantastic - make sure you have it in a plastic cup rather than a glass one for hygiene purposes.
We also enjoyed a day in the Atlas mountains/visiting a traditional Berber village/camel ride/waterfalls organised by the hotel.
The 'Henna cafe' is a lovely place for lunch and a rest if you want a temporary tatoo that is safe and organic!

We bought a day pass to spend by the pool (approx. £10) and to get away from the scorching sun. It was the best decision we could have made. This hotel is like an oasis in the middle of the busy Medina. We did not expect it to be so peaceful when we walked through the door. We sunbathed by the pool and walked through the beautiful gardens to get some shade. We also tried the fresh fruit cocktails and the lunch. The food was the best we've had whilst in Morocco. We had some refreshing cold melon soup, fish and moroccan salad. We went up to the roof terrace in the afternoon and lay around on the large sunbeds. The staff were very attentive (perhaps a little too much) and looked after us very well. Our day at this hotel was the perfect ending for our holiday. I wish we could have stayed there forever!

Room Tip: We did not stay at this hotel during our trip. However, it is possible to get a day pass and spend the day by the pool, eat and drink whatever one desires. We were very pleased with our find. It was the perfect day.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. Quite surprising from the road to find such a treat. A beautiful hotel, the staff were so accomodating and the food was very good. Our solarium bedroom was fantastic - spacious and the terrace an extra treat. Highly recommended for a trip to this interesting city.

Room Tip: The solarium rooms come with a terrace which is a bonus!

We spent 4 nights in this hotel as a couple plus 3 months old baby in february and were delighted by our stay. We love food and we have chosen the hotel also for the restaurant and we were not disappointed: it is delicious! The hotel is reasonnably baby friendly, the rooms are beautiful, the spa is good and very convenient if you want a treat while your partner has a little nap...we did not try the pool as we were there during winter but the hotel was still worth it, not to mention the very friendly staff. Will definitely recommend it to all our friends, being on a short romantic break or on a family week end.

We really enjoyed our corner room on the top floor of this beautiful property with its sumptuous breakfast. I couldn't agree more with all the comments about its charm, but I want to point out for my fellow US travelers, that the cigarette smoke in common areas is a surprise. No, it's not surprising that international travelers smoke, but it is surprising to be so aware of the smell given the non-smoking requirements for public properties in the US. So, on our return to this property from a 2-day jaunt in the mountains, we then had a room outside one of the courtyards that unfortunately had a strong smell of smoke. Having gotten that comment out of the way, the service is fantastic at this hotel, and we really enjoyed the pool and gardens after working our way through the Medina and its craziness. Surprisingly, it also was very quiet and relaxing, a real contrast to the street outside. There are a number of lovely service touches, such as the cold juice drink and towel at arrival, the sweets in the room, rose petals in the bath. Excellent ideas!

Room Tip: Consider a corner room on the upper floor to escape the common area terraces.
