We made the mistake of visiting this gardens. It was a waste of a morning in lovely Marrakech. I can only compare if to a disused, derelict swimming pool, full of brown water, dead fish and a shopping trolley. The gardens are just unattractive, muddy olive groves with not a flower in sight.

There is nothing to see here.
After a long walk, you get to a dirty lake with a pavillion.
A few stalls selling all the usual souvenirs.
Don't bother

The view from Menara Gardens is highly variable. It can be a beautiful place if the weather is good (particularly at sunrise / sunset) and when the water is clean. However, at times this place can get very hot, very crowded and the water can sometimes be in need of a good clean! At the end of a long road on the way to Menara airport - you could even take one of the many camel rides (beware of prices) from the city centre to the gardens. Not much to do here apart from a stroll through the gardens. Worth it if you visit at sunrise or sunset !

Great photo opportunity
Beautiful to look at and peaceful to walk around even though it's busy
There were lots of people having picnics in the grounds
The water was certainly in need of a good clean and dredge
We didn't go into the building itself as there was an entry fee which was a little dear compered to other places

Went here after seeing a beautiful picture of the tea pavilion with the Atlas mountains behind and the reservoir in front . The reservoir is stagnant and smelly. The best thing about this park is we went on a Sunday when all the Moroccan families are visiting. There were groups amongst the trees cooking, singing , dancing etc. but if you aren't that way don't bother !!
