We visited Marrakech at the end of March. Our Riad being in the old Medina meant a fair walk to Jemma El Fna but we found this lovely eating place les than 5 minutes away. The food was excellent quality and there was plenty of it. We went there several times during our stay.
Rooftop views and friendly staff. Recommended!

Not being fond of indoor areas where conversation with table guests requires elevated decibel levels, the musician awkwardly 'works the room' by increasing his 'contribution' to be heard above the din his output has created. A vicious spiral, indeed.

Otherwise quite reasonable given it's location, amidst a tourist souk. And the 'bedraggled berber' is the local version of a menu-waving waiter.

The 'low level' indoor seating and menu items with oils / thin sauces requires a concerted effort to emerge unblemished from the property.

Close to our riad, but off the beaten path from the Jemaa, this place was a pleasant find. We had a delicious and inexpensive dinner that we thoroughly enjoyed. Upstairs was busy with an international crowd, live oud music which was great.

We were happy to find this lovely place with an amazing view! The food was fine, typical Morrocan, and really nice tea. I was so happy getting out of the chaos of the souk and having a meal in a peaceful environment. There was a traditional singer who came and played guitar as well.
the salad with avocado was an amazing circle of vegetables - I recommend!

We discovered this restaurant on our first morning in Marrakech and had a coffee on the delightful rooftop terrace with superb views of the Atlas Mountains (on a clear day). The welcome was exceptional - we even sampled some of the family's lunch! We revisited several times, including a evening meal where we were serenaded by someone playing traditional Moroccan music (of a rather melancholy nature). Our last meal there was a leisurely lunch before leaving for the airport, which included an amazing plate of Moroccan pastries - all hand made by the chef. That and the traditional Marrakech soup, Harira, were the best items on the menu.
