The apartment was modern, spacious and very well located. It was a pleasure to stay there. We highly recommend it.

We stayed as a family of 5. Main bedroom is ensuite and bed really comfortable. 2nd bedroom is also a double so our two daughters had to share the bed. The sofa in main room was flexible in that it could be split into quite a wide and comfortable bed - possibly better than a sofa bed. Our 17 year old son was happy.
The kitchen was fine with dishwasher and washing machine so that was great. The living room had TV with satellite, DVD player, and speakers that you could plug ipod/phone into to play music.
There is also a lovely big terrace on the roof, but the weather was so poor everything was wet and cold, so we were unable to use it. Also the swimming pool is communal to the apartment block, and was drained/under maintenance with no idea of when it would become usable again.
There is a large supermarket in the basement of the apartment. This is not a captive supermarket attached to villlas etc where the prices are inflated, this was a general Marrakech supermarket so it is really handy.
The apartment is located in a quieter part of Marrakech, so you are not trapped in the rabbit warren of the Medina, and it is easy to get a taxi. It is about 20 mins walk to the Medina, and likewise to the conventional shopping areas. The Jardin Majorelle is opposite, although you need to walk round the block to the entrance, which was a bit confusing. There are banks at the bottom of the apartment - handy - although when exchanging cash count it out with them - the same woman tried to short change me for 400 and 800 Dirham on separate days - just keeping the 200 notes on the desk below the counter. Perfectly polite and no problem but just don't step away from the desk, as I am sure they would then not be interested.
We had transfers to and from the airports arranged. Single large people cover and very friendly drive Brahim. He drove well - not stressful.
Also arranged a meal with Fatima cooked in our apartment. I would say it was the best meal of the holiday - so would recommend doing it.
Also we arranged a trip into the mountains with again Brahim driving. Again it was fine - his English is not great, so it is better if you can speak French. But there are stops on the way, where they do try to sell you stuff, but to be honest it is not high pressure, much better than in Marrakech where you are being pressured all the time. Also he will stop whenever you want to stop for photos so again I would recommend.
