Cordial contact before our arrival, including very helpful advice on arrival and travel plans in the area assured us this was a great choice. Our initial contact was upon the upon the recommendation of friends who had previously traveled to Marrakech and were not able to stay at Riad Kniza.
The entire experience was delightful from the vivid spotless atmosphere of another world feeling to the personal friendly conversations with the owner and director who were available to take care of every detail-guides,reservations,maps and overseeing an exceptional choice and quality of food and drink for all occasions.
We have been fortunate to travel extensively and give Riad Kniza the highest rating for overall travel experience.

Riad situated near a Gateway in the Walls of the Medina, we passed the food stalls into neat Derb l'Hotel and found this haven of calm and elegance. A refreshing glass of mint tea was provided in one of the dining suites by the cream pierced walled court yard with its petal strewn fountain, like all of our non alcoholic refreshments this was charmingly provide without charge.
Our Sultan suite was beautifully furnished and well appointed.
Riad Kniza has a cool refreshing swimming pool, a Hammam and a massseur. A romantic Dinner on the roof terrace was delicious with Lamb tajine, Bastilla and Morrocan cooked vegetable salad.
Every one was courteous and the owners gave us helpful advice.

We had the pleasure of spending four nights at the Riad Kniza and must share our wonderful experience with the tripadvisor.com community. We enjoyed a beautifully decorated two-story suite, filled with antiques collected by the riad's owner, Monsieur Bouskri. The riad's public spaces (several stunning lounges, tranquil courtyard, picturesque terraces and even a swimming pool) are all lovely. Besides enjoying the riad's physical beauty, we were impressed with the service by all staff members. In particular, Samira, the receptionist, is one of those individuals who can anticipate all your needs and fulfill them efficiently, with the cheeriest of smiles. And, we echo the sentiments of many prior posters regarding the riad's kitchen . . . it's one of the best, if not the best, in Marrakech! We are still dreaming of the chicken bastilla!!!

We spent 4 nights in this superb riad. The rooms are cool, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean (and trust me I am fussy about cleanliness). The service was exceptionally good. The staff are friendly, courteous and attentive without being over the top. And the food.... the best I have eaten anywhere in a long, long time. This is a definite must when staying in Marrakech.

I loved this hotel and I highly recommend it! The decor was charming and all the rooms have beautiful antiques and are authentically decorated. Also, the service and location was great. If you stay here, definitely eat dinner at the RIad Kniza. Our dinner here was one of my all time favorite meals! It's a must!
