Everything was perfect. The staff supported us in any way. The overall quality of this place is probably beyond any other places in Marrakesh - especially if you look for a traditional small Riad and dont want to stay in a hotel.

We stayed at Riad Kniza in Marrakech in December 2017. It was amazing. Beautiful small hotel located inside the walled city within an easy walk to the main Medina areas. Service was excellent and the staff spoke excellent English. Breakfast in the room is a must do. Also ask to see the Riad's museum and gift shop across the alleyway; it is normally not open but the owner will open it upon request.

Room Tip: Only 11 rooms. Our room was beautiful but I did not see other rooms. I suspect all were of similar quality.

We come for only one night and wish we could've stayed longer. We were there for New Year's Eve/Day. Had a lovely breakfast on the terrace which was sunny and warm. We also loved our room, and in general, every little finishing touch on the property was so elegant and timeless. We also got to meet Mohamed (the owner and former tour guide to various US presidents), who gave us a private tour of the museum and shop that recently opened. We also got a nice tutorial about the various rug styles and methods. We bought a unique rug that was one of the highest quality ones we took home. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone, especially if on your honeymoon like we were. Good location as well and though in the market area with live chickens and such, was down an alley so incredibly quiet and quaint once inside the riad.

Riad was so nice I didn't want to leave. Front desk member, Assia and all other staff really go above and beyond. Log fires in rooms, beautiful Moroccan decor and the staff made this a perfect way to relax without going to a more common resort.

Room Tip: Suites are special

Riad Kniza is unbelievably beautiful boutique hotel located in the middle of the old Medina of Marrakech. Riad Kniza is located in the northwest corner of the Medina, near the old town’s gates called Bab Doukala. It is better to arrange a pick up so you don’t get lost in the small streets that lead to the Riad. The location is just perfect for exploring the local life, authentic food market and of course Jemaa El Fna. A twenty-minute walk will allow you to explore Marrakech’s modern quarter Gueliz with its charming Jardins Majorelle.

We stayed in a gorgeous Senior Suite with king size bed, lovely bathroom with bathtub, spacious living room with sitting area and fireplace. Room was beautifully decorated with fine furnishings, rich fabrics, ornamental Moroccan lamps, antiques, authentic artworks and lots of decors. It was spacious, comfortable and classy in every detail.
