“A little gem in a hustle bustle medina”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 December 2013

This was a place very near our Riad. A very clean, very welcoming and very pleasant ambience. The staff were very friendly and spoke both French and English. The service was five star and very prompt. The complementary warm focaccia bread topped with cherry tomato served with 2 types of olives was delicious. The Manu had wide choice to cater for veg & non- veg taste buds. The food was freshly prepared and very professionally served with high quality. The price of a main course at 60 drh with a bottle of water of such high quality was unbelievable. The portions were more than enough keeping room for their pastry of the day desserts. We ate there twice during our very short stay in Marrakech. The experience was very consistent.

“Same Old Dog, New Tricks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 November 2013

After reading some good reviews we sourced Kui-Zin out and had some familiar classics, Lamb Tagine with apricots and Kefta Tagine. Before our meals arrived we noticed that things were a bit different here. The server was in a tie and fitted shirt, the owner strolled around the place with an easy confidence that spokeof his pride, not a shred of desperation and not a salesman in sight. Thoughtfully baked bread encrusted with cherry tomatoes were quickly served along side some tapenad and another spread. The service was attentive and highly professional. We suddenly realized that we were in a "proper" restaurant.

The Tagines were right on point, excellent slow-cooked flavor, incredibly aromatic and simple (in a good way).
My Keftas were seasoned with fennel seed and the spice wasn't cluttered, the fennel was the star and it was unexpected, bold and the perfect surprise.

Their daily rotation of dessert options was also pretty impressive and reminded me of a little patisserie in Paris.
Good value, good food, Good people, Good ambience.

Merci chef,

Happy Eating :)

“a food sanctuary!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2013

We returned to this place many times during our stay in Marrakech. The food is all fresh, homemade and delicious! The staff are very friendly and the vibe is casual and relaxing. They offer a broad menu so we found it a great place to escape tagines when you felt like something different (they do offer a number of morrocan dishes as well if thats what your after). Some of our favourites were the soup of the day with quiche, ravioli and the orange and ginger juice. The price for this quality is unbeatable, highly recommended!

“Lovely, clean and very reasonably priced cafe.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2013

Found this lovely little cafe just round the corner from our riad. Very clean with friendly staff who look after you very well. Good food at a very good price. Just right for lunch and costs120 dirham for 2 main courses and a large bottle of water. Been twice and both meals were just the right amount and tasty. Will be back again. Great cafe.
