We had an excellent stay at this Riad, our room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and there was so much to eat plus we got freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. For christmas eve we decided to have dinner at the Riad and the food was excellent. It is lovely to eat in the enclosed courtyard garden surrounded by banana trees. Simone our host was incredibly helpful, he walked us to the museums we wanted to go to plus helped us organise a pick up from another tour company when they couldn't find us. The Riad is a few minutes walk from the Jamaa El Fna Square and the souks but it is so peaceful and quiet it feels like it is far away from the city. Excellent free wifi and roof terrace to relax on.

Great location, great treat, amazing room...absolutely recommendable.
Simone, the administrator, was incredibly amiable and available, he offered us all the conditions and answers in a crazy city, he adapted after our plans.

We had a wonderful staying in this Riad, everything was perfect. My boyfriend and I had the suite that was really nice and spacious. You can really feel the Moroccan atmosphere in here. The bathroom was huge, and everything was extraordinary, included breakfast. The location is three minutes walking distance from Jamaa El Fna. We would like to thank Valeria for being such a good host and the perfect guide. We would really recommend this Riad to anyone and we wish to come back here one day.

Great place. I spent about 2 weeks whittling down the riads in Marrakech via Trip Advisor, Guide Routard and Footprints and despite ending with 3 to choose from opted for Dar Bamileke. What an inspired choice. We are still here for 2 more nights but can't wait to tell you how good this place is. Our room, Dogon, is vast (about 40m sq) and has a double with a single and a large sofa (about 2m long). A full bathroom with shower/bath. Breakfast is lovely and served on the roof terrace. Simone (our Italian host) is great, he took us to his Spa today and my wife and I had a traditional Hammam experience for 400dh each (including 1 hour massage). The walk to Place Jemaa el fnaa is about 5minutes. If your thinking of staying in Marrakech, with the vast quantity of places to stay, I'd advise for the money, you'll be hard pressed to get a better place than here.

The host, Simone, made our stay in Marrakech an awesome experience. Four of us booked 2 rooms for 3 nights for a long weekend holiday. We organized a pick up from the riad rather than getting the general taxi despite being more expensive and it was worth it. The car cannot go directly to the riad because the roads to the square is blocked and Simone came and greeted us at the square and led the way to the riad. The rooms are very nice, big, clean and comfortable. There are no air con but the fan does the job ok. Throughout our stay, Simone led us around Marrakech, showing us where the palaces are and also recommended hammam baths and dinner nearby. This is truly above and beyond expectation! Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Bamileke for 5 nights. We had the room on the ground floor with a little window to the tiny alleyway outside. Although some noise from outside could be heard we slept very well. The rooms are very clean, the ladies serving breakfast are nice and so is Simone, the guy who is in charge of the Riad and who will do anything to help you make your stay in the city most pleasant. On the roof of the Riad you will find a partly covered sitting area and some deck chairs to relax. Inside the Riad there is peace and quiet, although you are only a few steps away from the souks and the Grande Place. Simone arranged a pick-up service for us twice, which was well-organised either way and cost 15 Euros one way.
So so not hesitate to go there, you get a maximum for the money you pay.

Room Tip: If you are used to sleeping in very large beds, remember that the usual size of a double bed is 140x...

Stayed there 5 nights with my girlfriend. What a marvellous stay! It's a small Riad so the environment was very intimate and relaxing. After spending the day wandering in the chaotic alleys of marrakech, it was nice to have a quiet and comfortable place to recharge our batteries.
We got a free upgrade to the biggest suite, which was a nice surprise. The room was very big (really, huge), charming and well decorated. Nice indirect light passing through the skylight (window on the ceiling) in the morning. Big bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast, which we usually took in the lovely sunny terrasse, was very delicious. Composed of orange juice, fresh bread, tea/coffee, morrocan pancakes (sort of), different jams, white cheese; all freshly made by the cook, a morrocan lady.
This was already really good, but the very personalized service provided by the staff was absolutely superb! The two managers, Mateo and Simone, were incredibly nice and really went out of their way to help us. They spoke, at least 4 languages, German, Italian, English and French, so we had no trouble communicating (we're from Brazil). From the day of our arrival they were extremely kind and took us for a walk nearby to make sure we wouldn't get lost showing us the main services like exchange bank, taxis and other useful stuff. Throughout the days, they recommended and reserved very nice restaurants and other places, as well as the guided tours and excursions we demanded. They showed us the map and Simone actually personally took us to the old jewish neighborhood (Mellah) and two museums, just because it could be a little difficult to find it on our own.

Overall, one of the best places i've ever stayed in. Very good value for money. Strongly recommend it. No complaints at all; zero.

Tip: If you can, book their Transfer from the airport to the Riad. You will probably end up paying more for a not-so-trustworthy taxi, which won't (for sure) leave you at the door of the Riad. He'll leave you, at best, in the entrance of the market, which is close. If it is you first time in Marrakech, by then you will be lost with you luggage and will be, for sure, harrassed in the street. We made that mistake, so we know.
If your in a extremely tight budget, then you will end up taking the bus at the airport. That will leave you near the Koutubia Mosque. So draw a map in advance for when you have to walk to the Riad, so you won't get lost.
Hope it helps!
I think you won't regret choosing this Riad to stay! Very pleasant experience!

Room Tip: Got the biggest room in the Riad; very comfortable and romantic. Nice indirect sunlight by the morni...
