Cyril and his team gave us a warm welcome and carried on to make our stay at L'Orangeraie a truly memorable experience. A day in the Atlas Mountains, recommedations and reservations for eating, an amusing commentary on life in the city, a splendid evening feast served by the ladies of L'Orangeraie,leisurely breakfasts served on the roof terrace, nothing was a problem.If you are planning to go to Marrakech, stay here, its wonderful.

Riad L'Orangeraie is a wonderful place to stay. We had a superb time in this beautiful riad, looked after by Cyril whis is an excelletent host, entertaining and very helpful. He provided us with lots of ideas and tips for our trip. It is a tremendously tranquil place in the heart of Marrakech and (as another reviewer said) worth going to Marrakech to stay here!

The food and service is excellent and friendly. The roof is a lovely place for breakfast with great views and the pool is perfect for a refreshing dip.

Many thanks for a wonderful holiday and we plan to visit you again soon.

We had a great stay at Riad de L'Orangeraie where we have enjoyed a high quality environment with a wonderful staff, exquisite decorated rooms and very good meals. Cyril the owner is very kind and truly ready to help newcomers discover the city. A very good address.

great riad; nice but not over-the-top design; first morning you will hear the muezzin-but you get used to it; good dinner; top location; good value for money; cyrill is the best concierge - trust his tips;

really enjoyed the stay here. we spent 3 nights, in the gingembre room (check spelling!) on the ground floor by the pool, with bedroom, hallway and bathroom with lovely bath. no-one had breakfast by the pool while we were there (we all tended to head to the roof terrace) so it was quiet. and the quietest riad in terms of 'call to prayer' of any i have stayed in marrakech. though if you didn't hear it at all that wouldn't seem right!

the food - we had dinner 2 nights - was really lovely. i am a veggie, my partner is not, and we both loved our food. breakfasts changed each day too.

also free wi-fi and a sitting room with an open fire, chess sets etc. and good music playing over dinner too.

we also had transfers each way to the airport - all went smoothly, despite the horribly early start on our departure day. though the beauty of that was being driven through a sleeping souk to the place el jen fna.

above all cyril was a wonderful host. in fact everyone was really friendly. cyril was readily available with ideas and tips for where to go, where to eat, and if you wanted a trip further afield would help sort that too.

My Wife and 83 year old Mother in Law visited Marrakech for 4 Days in March. It is such a different way of life to that we have in Europe and certainly worth a few days visit. It is a busy chaotic city where donkey and cart thread their way up the narrow streets along with bicycles and mopeds. You certainly need your wits about you.

We stayed at the Riad L'Orangerie for our stay and found it the perfect antidote to a day spent in the Souks. As you step through the wooden doorway to the riad you enter a world of peace and calm. The lovely courtyards are full of plants, pots and trees and you could hear the birds singing.

The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the roof terrace is a great spot to relax, take in some sun or just soak up the atmosphere when the frequent calls to prayer ring around the City.

The staff are very friendly and happy to assist. You must eat in the riad at least once as the food is truly delicious.

Thank you Cyril and all at the riad for making our stay so lovely.
