We stayed a long weekend (4 nights) in Dar Ayniwen and we loved it. Before we booked it we were not sure whether it was a good idea to be outside of the city center but with hindsight we found we made the right decision. The Medina is so busy in different ways that we appreciated the peace of Dar Ayniwen even more. The free shuttle bus was excellent: always on time and very flexibel. Most reviews state 15-20 minutes to the Medina. We were there during a low season time; it took us mostly 10 minutes only. The villa, the room, the breakfast, the swimming pool, the garden...it was perfect. The hotel manager, Aziz, is an excellent host. I would not know what I wanted differently. And just because it was mentioned in one other review: we stayed during the month of June and we had not a single mosquito.
