This was our first trip to Marrakech with our best friends, who have been raving about Dar Ayniwen for the last few years. Really didn't know what to expect as we are used to the large hotel resorts in places like Dubai. However, we are quite reluctant to praise this magical place as we really want to keep it as our 'secret find'. This wouldn't be fair on Aziz and his wonderful staff, who really deserve a huge amount of praise. Our 5 night break turned into 14 nights due to the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud and we still didn't want to leave at the end of our extended trip. We felt the luckiest people on earth to have been stranded in a place like this and Aziz made what could have been a nightmare for us into a dream! It is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed in and absolutely love the contrast of the chaotic souks to the peace of the hotel. All staff work so hard to make you feel so welcome and at home. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We shall definitely be returning!!!

Just far enough out of Marrakech and lovely and peaceful after the din of the Medina.Breakfasts wonderful with great local pancakes and crumpets, restaurant dinner also very good, although food and drinks prices quite high.
Kids loved the pool and the safe enviroment within the walls of the hotel.
The hotel is a real treat, with great service coming from Aziz and his waiters, waitress',drivers and maids. Thanks very much.

We had the most wonderful stay at this incredibly peaceful and welcoming Riad. Aziz and his colleagues could not have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. From breakfast by the pool every morning listening to the wonderful bird song to candle lit dinners at night. Aziz stressed that this was our home whilst we were there and he meant it....it was just so relaxing and peaceful. Being about fifteen minutes from Marrakesh meant complete calm whilst at Dar Ayniwen but the complementary cars made journeys out easy and stress free. A wonderful experience and one we will repeat. Thank you Aziz for your wonderful hospitality.

Absolutely stunning villa and gardens. We travelled with our 14 month old who was made extremely welcome. He enjoyed toddling around the gardens, chasing the tortoise and watching the parrots. I agree with the reviewer who said that it felt as if we were in a private villa rather than a hotel. Service is extremely personal and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a 10/15 minute drive from Marrakech, but use of the car meant that this was no problem, and we actually enjoyed staying slightly away from the hustle of the centre.

We found it difficult on ocassion to find staff to order drinks from, and it seems a shame this was the case when it would be so easy to fix. We also had a few misunderstandings caused by language issues which is worth bearing in mind if you visit (only so that you make doubly sure everyone understands what you're asking for, this happened a couple of times, but as an example, we asked dinner to be served as soon as they were ready, whilst the staff thought we said we'd tell them we were ready - an hour and a half later, we realised the mistake). This said, it really did seem insignificant because the staff really are extremely helpful and friendly and we were so happy to be staying in such a wonderful place. We would undoubtedly return and would definitely recommend.

We had a wondeful stay at Dar Ayniwen on our first trip to Marrakech. The staff could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, we would definitely stay there again, it felt as if we were in a private villa rather than a hotel. Aziz could not have been more heplful in organising our various trips.
