We travelled with our kids, ages 5 & 7 and stayed here on several occasions. The location was great (walking distance for kids to most things); the outdoor pool was warm enough for kids to swim for about 20 minutes in December during a cool spell (warmer than a few we tried in the Palmerie; we liked the 2 double beds in every room; the women who worked at the front desk were very nice. The price we found through Otel was really quite a good value for the location amenities.

I've been in the hotel from December 13th to 15th on a business trip, and had a very bad exeprience there.
The room is dirty, the carpet is full of cigaret holes.
The access to the veranda is blocked by the bed.
No minibar.
And amazingly, the toilet and the bidet are not in the same space.
Moistures in the bathroom, and i had to let the water open for 15minutes before it statred to be cleared from the sand.
if you don't buleive it, check the pictures

Ok, so in places the hotel is a bit tired, but all in all the hotel is very good, Clean rooms, excellent service and good food, especially the breakfasts and lunches.
The reception is vast and has intricate carvings, and is nice and cool and we found the reception staff very helpful and pleasent, and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The room was clean and pleasent, with a balcony overlooking the pool, and the cleaners changed the towels every day and all of the bed linen mid week.
It is only a 20 min stroll to the souks, and main square, and the open top sightseeing bus, (very good value), stops outside the hotel.
All in all a very good hotel for the money and we will certainly be returning in the new year to see the sights we didnt have time to see on this trip.

Stay here only as a last resort. Customer Service from front of house staff was appalling, our internet booking could not be traced although we had booking confirmation and reference numbers. The reception staff made clear that this was our problem and that we had to sort it out refusing to let us to call either the tour company or our guide. Eventually the issue was sorted, apparently the issue arose because of us being the first customers on a new contract with our tour company that hadn't been finalised. They wouldn't provide us with full details of what the issue was however and no sign whatsoever of an apology for ruining a morning of our holiday with their aggressive and rude attitude.
Food was average at best and, again, there was room for improvement with the service.
There's a charge for using the gym - about £10 which is very expensive for the facilities available.
Swimming pool is a great size but the loungers are incredibly uncomfprtable and can't be adjusted.

Also, building work at the moment which starts before 7 in the morning. Hardly restful.
Glad to leave...

This hotel looks nice from the outside, the grounds and reception area are pretty but Oh my what a shock. Things started off bad and just got steadily worse.

As a group we were welcomed with mint tea. Fortunately I didn´t have any but as I watched, the staff clear away the empty glasses and immediately refill with tea (without washing) before handing to the next set of guests.

Our room 214 was quite small and not very clean. The carpet was so bad you had to wear shoes all the time. I was sitting on our balcony the day the cleaners came in and they just pulled up the top sheet without straightening and didn´t even go into the bathroom. One of the people on our coach took a shower and the towel they were going to use was covered in dried blood.

Fortunately we did not have dinner in the hotel as a Moroccan evening was arranged but breakfast was horrendous. Firstly it was outside by the swimming pool and there were not enough tables to accommodate our group never mind other hotel guests. The tables were not cleared and many people had to use them with used crockery still in place. We found one but the tablecloth was all wet and the waiter refused to change it. They ran out of cups and there were NO teaspoons at all. The staff, of which there were plenty, stood around rather than clearing away and totally ignored people when it was pointed out that cereals, coffee etc had run out.

The ATM in the main lobby was not working and when we told reception he just shrugged and said find a bank. This came across as extremely rude but perhaps we can put it down to language problems. The bar appeared to be ´men only´ as when I went in the guy on the door tut tutted. I asked him if they served coffee in the bar and he abruptly said Black.

We didn´t use the pool but the loungers were filthy and many were broken.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed and I am not surprised that the following day several people on our coach were very ill with food poisoning.

The best advice I can give is don´t go here – if it is part of an organised tour then just don’t eat or drink here.
