Our two night stay was perfect in every way. The riad is absolutely beautiful -our room was stunning and there are so many different places to relax, to read or snack on the many bowls of fruit surrounded by fresh flowers. Breakfasts and meals were delicious. This was my first visit to morocco and I was travelling on my own with my two daughters and the advice and recommendations given by Muriel and Laurent before we arrived and while there simply made our visit. I felt confident negotiating the city, taxis, horse carts and buying onward tickets to the coast. To be given bottles of water with a cool bag when we went out was wonderful. We loved the location too.

Excellent riad. Beautifully kept. The owners Muriel and Laurent give an excellent service. Our only reservation would be that our room was located by the dining room/kitchen area and the front entrance so it was not very quiet. A bit high price for us but would recommend it for sure.

Tres belle riad. Bien maintenue.

We chose the Riad Dar Dialkoum based on the trip advisor reviews.

They were great at responding to e-mails before our visit (a practice a lot of hotels could follow)

Laurent and Muriel could not have been more welcoming and knowledgeable. Always happy to provide advice and accommodate our requirements.

The collection from the airport was useful although the vehicles was not of a good standard.

The walk from the drop off is quite short. The driver takes you to the door in the middle of a wall and you wonder if this is the place, Inside, the Riad is very traditional and comfortable you certainly feel you are in Morocco. Once the directions were explained, we had no problems in finding the Riad each time.

The rooms were traditional and each one individually appointed. We stayed for a meal on the 2nd night which was very good.

You can easily walk to all the Marrakesh highlights although if you get lost this will take a bit of time. 10 min walk to the Jardin Majorelle and probably 25 min walk to the main Jemaa square. We got a taxi back which was about 60 dirhams.

The roof terrace was great. Nice and quiet and relaxing after the hussle and bussle of the Souks.

They organised a taxi for us to Agadir which worked well.

Much to recommend and with great hosts, a lovely riad and great service, we would go back there again.

Hospitality doesn't come much finer than this, anywhere. Laurent and Muriel, together with their staff, will make you feel welcome from the moment you send your first email enquiring about vacancies.
The riad itself has been tastefully restored and decorated - lots of cosy, cushioned seating areas, with bowls of fresh and dried fruits to nibble on everywhere. The whole place, including rooftop gardens, provide a tranquil base in an otherwise dusty and fairly frantic city.

Room Tip: As it was a special birthday trip, we treated ourselves to a suite - Leila - delightful. We peeked...

Thank you so much Muriel and Laurent for this wonderful stay in your Riad and to gave us some informations about marrakesh, what to do and better not to do. We got a privat shuttle from airport marrakesh to this riad, maybe that would be better then a taxi without any experience with taxi drivers in marrakesh. After arriving Muriel talked to us with a lot of tips and some rules for marrakesh, that was very helpful for us, after this we didn´t were afraid of the normal taxi drivers :)

Muriel and Laurent are very nice and always on your side, if you need them, we live in this riad like our second home. The room Soraya was like 1000 and 1 night, like we impressed marrakesh and the magic of marrakesh before, just the room naturally was an absolutely reason to visit marrakesh. Food and drinks are very nice, but if you need to get an european food, better bring some junkfood with you from europe :D It´s marrokanian food and it is delicious. Also the housekeeping personal was very nice and always on your side, if you need them. Please note, also marrakesh can have some rain :D, that was the only bad thing for us on this trip. The Riad is absolutely in the center of marrakesh, all really important things are near by the riad, at longest 30 minutes to walk. We always walk to feel the spirit of marrakesh. Don´t be afaird of the evening or the night, if you are nice to the people, the people are also nice to you.

Muriel and Laurent, if we talk about marrakesh in the future, we will always also talk about your riad, it was wonderful. Thank yoU!

Room Tip: I can´t give a real tip, it depends on your wish of the costs. All room are unique and wonderful. We...

My wife and I stayed in the Dar Dialkoum for 5 nights during the recent half term in February. I cannot honestly add anything to the previous comments regarding the Dar Dialkoum as a place to stay and visit Marrakesh; every previous review, remark or comment is absolutely spot-on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Muriel and Laurent were accommodating, knowledgeable and excellent hosts. Marrakesh itself is very interesting and although only an hours flight from Malaga (Spain) is worlds apart in every other aspect. No need for an alarm clock as the call to pray will arose you very early; however, strangely enough it is something that you do get used to. The riad itself is situated within the old city walls and the Dar Dialkoum lies on the outer edge and very close to the local street-life. Be sure to have at least one evening meal in the main square for noise and local atmosphere and also one in the quite and tranquil surroundings of the riad. For further information read any of the previous reviews, as I am sure they cover all the information the first time visitor would require. Great place, great stay, great hosts, excellent.

Room Tip: On the first floor if possible.

We stayed for two nights.

On arrival by taxi, Muriel was there to greet us, escort us to the Riad and arrange for our luggage to be transported for the 100m or so not accessible by car. During our stay she provided clear, concise and relevant advise regarding directions, attractions and places to eat. The room was lovely and clean and strategically close to kitchen for microwave and kettle for bottles for our 10 month old boy. With mint tea on site and the best cous-cous and tagine we experienced in Morocco (and we had quite a few!) it was tempting not to leave the Riad at all!

Merci Muriel & Laurent
