The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Useful local information for tourist visits - enjoyed the hammam and massage very much. After the excitement and buzz of the local streets and squares, the Dar Anika was an oasis of calm.

Perfect location for the must-see Marrakech sites, but "off the grid" so it feels local and less touristique. Very nice roof terrace, with servings (breakfast, dinner or just drinks). Super friendly, service-minded and personal staff.

From the moment you arrive in Marrakech, whether by train or air, the staff at Dar Anika are preparing for your visit. We were picked up by their driver at the train station and taken directly to the Riad. At the door, we were greeted by the full staff, who had a rose for my wife and a porter for our bags. We were led into a waiting area where we were served fresh milk and dates, followed by pastries and mint tea. The proprietor arrived and detailed the surrounding area using a map, highlighting the placed we should go and when we should go there. Our room was upgraded and upon entry we found it covered in flower petals. The hot water was hot, the linens crisp and fresh, and our hosts were most hospitable. I've stayed at Ritz-Carltons, 7 Diamond Vegas hotels, and lavish all inclusive Mexican resorts, and I've never felt so welcome and well served as I did at Dar Anika. Upon our departure, the staff went so far as to provide us a sack lunch for the car ride. Do not hesitate to book your stay at Dar Anika, by far the best lodging we had in Morocco.

Great location with owners who are local and are hand on managers who care about their guests. They arranged a 3 day 2 night desert experience that used the hotel as home base to store unneeded luggage while we went thru the Atlas Mountains thru the Darr Valley. They arranged car service in the evenings to take us to and from local restaurants as well as airport pickup. The facility was great and the food better than several restaurants that we visited for dinner. The beef tijan is a most. Breakfast was terrific .. We will return soon to explore other southern cities but Dar Anika as home

Room Tip: They are all good...looked in while they were cleaning..Nosey am I ..We stayed in suite 1

Stayed at Dar Anika with our family. Fabulous stay - great riad with excellent plunge pool and roof terrace. Staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. Roof terrace is a wonderful haven - particularly at night for sipping mint tea in peace and quite after the hustle of the square.

Rooms were quiet and peaceful (we had 3) and we all benefitted from an excellent night's sleep - even the call from the mosques was muted - we know from previous stays in other riads that it can be quite noisy!

Location is perfect - close enough to souks and close to the main palaces.

Thank you Abu, you have created a great haven in the wonderful chaos of Marrakech

Room Tip: Rooms at the back or on second floor are the best.

Beautiful place and honest and helpful staff that did everything to make it a perfect holiday. The dinner one the night of arrival (with camel meat as a bonus) was one of the most romantic nights you could imagine. Simply an amazing setting! Also fabulous breakfasts overlooking the whole of Marrakech every morning. Thank you!

We can’t think of anywhere better to stay in Marrakech.

It’s been beautifully restored, and so is a pleasing space to return to after the hustle and bustle of the city. The service is excellent. We were greeted with milk and dates, followed by mint tea and pastries. All our needs were impeccably looked after – arranging a guide, taxis, Hammam, massage. The food was excellent and plentiful. Having breakfast on the roof is a great way to start the day – with yoghurt, fruit, orange juice, eggs cooked as you want them, unusual breads. The pool offered a refreshing way to cool after a day sight seeing. Add to all that the location – just minutes from the Bahia and Badii palaces, the Sadiaan tombs, and five minutes walk to the souks. But really it is the staff who make the place feel so relaxing. All of them were attentive and very good at what they did. Would highly recommend and would stay there again

Room Tip: Our room, Number 4, was spacious and comfortable
