I cannot recommend this place enough! You must stay here. We stayed at two Riad's while we were in Morocco, the first which was Dar Anika (and the second one was in Fez). It was almost hard to enjoy the second riad, because Dar Anika goes ABOVE and BEYOND what is expected when you stay at a Riad.

From the moment we stepped in we felt welcome. We were offered tea, and were able to relax while they checked us in. Antonio, the manager at the riad, came to meet us and then sat down with us to tell us about Marrakech. He provided us with a map, explained how to get places that we were hoping to see, and also gave us new ideas of where to visit. He also gave us tips and tricks for navigating the city and how to stay safe. The fact that he took time out of his day to do this was beyond my expectation!

Our rooms were spotless and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable! There were also snacks provided, as well as beverages. We would also be provided with milk and dates at the end of the day, which is a Berber tradition to welcome guests, as well as fresh squeezed juices.

Our first night there, we ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious! We split the lamb for two and it was perfect -- although quite a bit of food so GO HUNGRY! Everything was flavorful and incredible! If you aren't lucky enough to stay at Dar Anika, you should at least go for dinner!

Breakfast was also delicious and fresh. Fresh pancakes, omelettes, and bread were made fresh every morning in a traditional fashion. On our last day, our driver was coming at 8 am and so they arranged for us to have our breakfast early, which was such a nice touch! In fact, they also packed us a to go lunch just in case we got hungry in the car :)

I have to give a special shoutout to Antonio and his entire staff. I wish I remember ALL of their names (Ridwan - I remember yours since it sounds like red wine!), because they all were so kind and welcoming! We enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know them. Ridwan actually saw us out walking around in the Jemaa el Fna, recognized us and talked to us on his day off. We loved all the staff and cannot say enough good words about them. They work so hard to make your stay memorable.

One more thing -- we did the Hamam at Dar Anika and loved it! It is small but perfect for a couple. The woman who does the Hamam was lovely, kind, and made us both feel so comfortable. The products they use are natural and good quality. Also importantly, the hamam is SPOTLESS. If you are going to be getting (almost) naked in a hamam, you don't want it to be dirty. Highly recommend -- and then follow it up with a massage.

All in all, Dar Anika was amazing and we are already wanting to go back! Hopefully we are able to make it to Marrakech in near future, and if we are -- we will definitely be staying at Dar Anika!

We had such a lovely time at Dar Anika. Antonio and his staff did absolutely everything to make the best of our three day stay. Arriving was such a pleasure as we were all treated like princesses ( 4 friends ) the house is perfectly maintained and staff is always ready to help out. Rooms are cleaned and taken care of regularly. Lunch and breakfast were perfect and so delicious. The bread and pancakes are freshly and traditionally cooked right besides us. This Riad is the place to be to have a great traditional experience.

It is one of those places that grow you on you the longer you stay. And by the time you leave you just want to stay longer. The entire staff is amazing and all they want is to make sure you have a great time. Antonio and his team really care about you having the best possible experience in Marrakesh. The roof top is the best place to have breakfast or a tea... and breakfast is great!

The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere, cabs are always available a 2min walk by the roundabout and if you want to take a break mid day, you are usually never more than a 20min walk away.

If we come back to Marrakesh this is for sure where we will stay!

Amazing experience here at Dar Anika! The staff was  warm and welcoming they ALL go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. Abu and Antonio made the best accommodations to insure we were all comfortable and felt at home. This was by far the best experience I have had at any hotel. Dar Anika did  exceptionally well in service, the facility is well maintained and the food was amazing! I can not wait to plan my next stay here! Thank you guys for all of the hard work you all put in, it is greatly appreciated!
