“Amazing Riad with amazing staff!”
Reviewed 24 April 2011

We stayed here for one week and had an incredible time at Arabo-Andalouse. The Riad is clean and cozy and a perfect retreat after all the hustle and bustle of the streets of Marrakesh.
Mohammed keeps care of the place when the owner GPaolo isnt there and he is probably one of the nicest and most helpful men you will ever meet - he looked after us the whole time we were there.
Our room was No. 8, it came with a big private roof terrace and two seperate rooms. It was very spacious and comfy with lots of morroccan details.
Breakfast (included) was simple and good, with fresh fruit and coffee/tea.

The Riad is located in the Kasbah and we were happy to explore most of the sights in central Marrakesh by foot.

We had a really good time there and would highly recommend Arabo-Andalouse to anyone going to Marrakesh and we'll surely be back thier when we venture to Marrakesh again in the future.

I stayed at Maison Arabo-Andalouse during a 4 day- trip in Marrakech, and I couldn’t be happier! The place itself is really beautiful and very clean, a little piece of paradise at 5 minutes walk from the main square. But the best thing of this place are the people working there, thanks to Mr Mohammed our experience was absolutely perfect. Mohammed helped us giving good pieces of advice to find nice places where to eat at a cheap price, about what to see and what not, organized taxis whenever we needed; One night we decided to eat in, and it was everithing perfect! Miss Fahra’s cooking was really delicious! the best chicken of Marrakech!
What more can I say, this is really the perfect place to stay, if You wanna breath the original Moroccan atmosphere and find all the comforts You need!

There are many reasons why Maison Arabo Andalouse is a truly exceptional place to stay. Firstly, the service is outstanding. Paolo was a fantastic host who was genuinely committed to ensuring we had relaxing, enjoyable and interesting stay in Marrakech. He was always available to offer suggestions about where to go and what to do. He arranged our day trip to the Atlas Mountains and made reservations for us at La Maison Arabe restaurant and Les Bains de Marrakech, both of which were superb. Paolo would also walk with us to places or arrange taxis to ensure we got to where we needed to go without any stress. The other staff at the riad – Fatima, Zara and Mohammed – were equally as helpful and welcoming.

The riad is ideally located in the Kasbah, which I found one of the most authentic and less intense areas of the city. The Jemaa el Fna square is about a seven-minute walk away. The Badii Palace and Saadian Tombs are both less than five minutes walk away.

The riad’s interior is beautiful and there is great care and attention to detail. My friend and I stayed for three nights in March 2011 following a recommendation from another friend. I could not have wished for a better place to stay in Marrakech.

With 10 minutes walk to fabulous Djemaa-el-Fna and located in a lively and genuine neighbourhood, and despite this surprisingly calm and easy to find, Maison Arabo Andalouse is a perfect place to stay, also for families with children. Beautifully decorated rooms and fine common facilities, not least the small pool and the roof terrace, with a sight to stork couples. And then there is Paolo, the owner, and his staff: Extremely helpful and good-humoured, a reliant source of information all the time. Are you a bit shy of going alone to the local hammam round the corner, kind Sara will go with you and do the negociations! And of course they collect you at the airport. We will definitely come back. I had nothing but a positive experience with Maison Arabo-Andalouse. If you read through what all the other positives were, believe them. With regards to the negative responses, we all have our needs and perceptions. Considering I booked this one week in advance, I could not have been more delighted. Paolo, Mohammed, Zara, Fatima, the taxi driver, everyone was a delight. Marrakech is a crazy, hustling, bustling city and this riad provided a perfect quiet place to relax when you weren't out and about.

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for 5 nights recently in this amazing Riad in Marrakech. The location is fantastic and easy to find once you get the intitial introduction from Paolo- the Riad's Manager. He was so welcoming as well as his collegues who made our stay so comfortable. We were so glad to experience the more secluded, quiet conveniences of a Riad that a big bustling hotel. I highly recommend Paolo's tip of the Hammam Spa Experience and after busy days sight seeing finishing with a relaxing mint tea or wine on the terrace to watch the sun go down. We had a wonderful time here and would recommend it to all.

We stayed at the Maison Arabo Andalouse for a long-weekend, arriving on the early morning Friday Ryanair flight and returning on the Monday morning flight. It was myself, my sister and two teenage daughters. The Arabo Andalouse was a great location, very central and we felt perfectly comfortable walking to and fro, night and day. The decor in the riad is really nice. Paulo, the owner, who is not always there, was at the Riad during our stay and enormously helpful without being intrusive. It is more a bed and breakfast experience than a luxury hotel experience but in a good way. Paulo gave us some helpful advice which was very much appreciated given the short time we had to learn the ropes. I'd definitely recommend the Arabo-Andalouse. They really try hard to make your stay enjoyable and they are successful in doing so!
