Fantastic location, fantastic decor and condition, amazing staff!

Once you find it, it's an easy walk to and from the souks and main square. Kaoutar and Said along with the housekeeping staff are wonderfully friendly, helpful and help host this oasis of calm, in this perfectly hectic city.

Only a 15 minute private taxi (that Aubrac will organise) from the airport.

They will also happily help organise excursions and advise on what to do...

Final note, make sure you eat at the Riad at least once in your stay, by far the best meal we had was the perfect tagine and couscous, sat in the roof terrace watching the sunset across the mountains and the city.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Margaurite Suite (family of 4) and it was perfect!

I can only reiterate what others have said about this property. Great place to stay, staff friendly and informative. Good sleeping facilities and clean. Difficult to find until you've got your bearings - but this would be applicable to all riad's in the medina. Just one word of warning (not applicable to the riad) - avoid the tanneries, and anyone who wants to guide you there, unless you are prepared to purchase something from there. We were 2 females and possibly seen as easy pickings - after a tour around the tanneries and a hard sell talk the guide and chap on the door became very threatening because we hadn't purchased anything, extracting money with menace's. Also watch your bags and pockets in the square after dark, whilst trying to view the attractions we were followed around by a group of young men who kept bumping into us,and trying to feel our back pockets. They wouldn't go away until we turned and faced them, letting them know we were aware of what they were up to. I am not novice traveler - having been to many country's and have visited Marrakech before, but, always with my husband.
Back to the Riad Aubrac - great place to stay.

This Riad was an absolute delight. The Rooms are comfortable and spacious, with tiled showers and stained glass windows. The plunge pool is a beautiful addition, especially in the evenings when it is lit up. The terrace is incredible! A panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains over the rooftops of Marrakech, with luxurious seating in which to while away the hours having late morning breakfasts in the sunlight, or play cards under the stars. The main ingredient for the Riad's success was undoubtedly its staff! Thanks to Said for supplying endless cups of mint tea into the evening, and to the Michelin-starred worthy kitchen ladies whose doughnut-things, tagines (especially the Beef & Fig one!) and radiant smiles made the trip. Staying in Marrakech was a sensory experience that enraptured all of us... this is in no small part to us staying at Riad Aubrac.

Room Tip: The Marguerite Suite was amazing! We also had the adjoining rooms near the terrace which, when conne...

We have recently returned from a 9 night stay at the Riad Aubrac and we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience. This quality accommodation is in a great location, just minutes walk from the Medina, via a couple of bustly streets where you get to experience the real Marrakech life.

The staff are amazing at the Riad and the room was spacious and comfortable. Enjoying breakfast on the roof terrace in the morning was lovely, in fact the food deserves a special mention for the range of tasty food on offer, from warm Moroccan pancakes to omelettes served in a tagine for breakfast.

We explored the city every day, walking miles, driving through the desert and mountains and exploring every inch of the local area, so we loved coming back to the tranquility of this lovely little Riad.

We would agree with the reviews that describe it as a 'hidden gem' and would certainly recommend it in the future. Who knows, we may even go back one day!

If you do one thing, we would highly recommend organising a special roof top dinner for the last evening. We ordered the Chicken Tagine with lemons and the Lamb Tagine with prunes (in advance). The cooks spent all day cooking our feast and served it (with a starter and dessert included for around £8pp) on the roof terrace as the sun was starting to dip. This was easily our BEST meal in Marrakech and rounded off our trip perfectly. Do it! You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: Try to avoid the Bleuet room. This was a very small room. Maybe ok for a night or two, but not ide...

I would definitely recommend this riad for a place to stay when in marrakech! It's amazing! Right in The middle of the medina and you get a true sense of the real marrakech! It's luxury when you walk in and you feel like your in a bubble away from the craziness of the medina, the room was lovely and breakfast was fab!!!!!

We stayed 2 nights and my daughter stayed a third. Like others it would be impossible to find without someone meeting us at Lycée Mohamed V. Welcoming, nice breakfasts on roof, good information folder, evening meals on request - looked good, nice plunge pool. Said was especially helpful. We'd go back again

I spent 2 nights in this great Riad. The manager is a lovely lady who speaks perfect english and french and she makes you feel quite comfortable. There is another young guy who stays at the reception at night who is really nice as well.
It´s really good value for money and the location is mega convenient (10 mins from Jamaa el fna) however is located at the end of some narrow streets and it seems a bit scary at night but be advised that most of the Riads around are situated in the way.
The also organize excursion to nearby cities, valleys and Sahara..
I highly recommend this one if you want to have an authentic experience.
