This was the perfect place to stay in our time in Marrakech. The Riad offers all the peace and tranquility we wanted once we had had our fill of being busy around the city. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the whole place has such a personal feeling about it, making it a very special memory for us.
The owners Steven and Robert were on hand with great advice and knowledge on anything - good places to eat, how to go about getting the bus to Essaouira, etc.
The great thing about it is that you can do things yourself if you're the more exploratory type or have things organised for you if you are not - the Riad will organise taxis for you to wherever if its too far or you dont want to walk for example.
We were met at the airport by their driver who was very chatty and friendly and drove us into the mountains - which was great. Their manager Abdez is also a credit to the place, always wearing a smile and willing to help us in anyway.
Food here was very good also.
Our room was brilliant - fresh fruit everyday, room attended to twice a day - good bed and good shower (v important things!)

I thoroughly reccommend this Riad and will do to any of my friends and family who intend going to Marrakech.

What an amazing experience we had at this Riad.!

We have a young family and with the excuse of our honeymoon the grandparents were called in while we looked to have a truly relaxing short break!

We trawled Trip Advisor to find a Riad and we were not let down by our choice that was based on the reviews of this place!

The actual buiding and decor is gorgeous but the owners and staff made our honeymoon perfect!

Robert and Stephen (Owners) were extremely attentive and know the area and retaurants really well and were able to give impartial advice on where to go and then organise it all for us and we were not let down on any occasion.

Abdess, Morat and the staff were absolutely fantastic and look after the guests attentively and more importantly, genuinely. We really do miss them!

Also we used the guide through the Riad who contrary to a previous review we found really really good. He took us to where we wanted to go, gave advice on products impartially and at no time did he push us to shop with people he knew.

The attention to detail here is second to none.

If you are going to Marakesh stay at this Riad, you will not regret it!

My husband arranged our stay directly with the owners and we were made to feel very welcome during our stay. Everything was made very simple for us, with collection from the airport and transport to and from the bus station for our short trip out to Essaouria (see my other review of Dar L'Ouissa, Essaouira). Stephen spent some time with us on arrival giving us some hints and tips for Marrakech, we found this really helpful having not travelled in Africa before. The rooms are lovely, we stayed in Rooms 1 & 2 as we were there for two stays during our week and wanted to experience 2 rooms (the air con was a blessing at this time of year). It was very quiet in the Riad itself. We ate at the Riad on our last evening up on the terrace, The food was very good, especially the Moroccan salad starters, make sure you're hungry as the portions are large. We were also very impressed with the staff at the Riad, really firendly and polite. We booked a half day tour to Setti Fatma in the Atlas mountains and really enjoyed seeing a different side to Morocco.

A big thank you to you all for making my 40th birthday so special.

You step from a dusty Marrakesh alleyway into a calm and tranquil place. You immediately feel relaxed. The decor is second to none, the place is bright and clean and the staff friendly and welcoming.

We were happy to spend much of our time on the upper terrace in the sunshine with a nice cool drink and popping downstairs for the occasional dip in the open air jacuzzi.

The accommodation was lovely and clean. The food excellent and nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Steve and Robert were well informed and helpful, organising drivers and guides for us whenever needed.

We particularly enjoyed trips out to the Ourika valley in the Atlas mountains and to a swimming complex called Oasiria.

Riad El Mansour is an excellent place to stay. I went there on my honeymoon and they kindly gave us an upgrade when we arrived. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. Both my husband and I got sick (NOT due to the riad) and the staff helped us change our travel plans at the last minute. They set up dinner reservations for us at excellent restaurants and arranged for tours. We even had a nice meal of the rooftop of the riad one evening. Our room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying the Riad El Mansour.
