What can be said that has not already?
The staff are the best I have encountered in any hotel in the World.
Wadi, Adbess, Mustapha, Safa and Nadia were superb, always there to help.
The hotel is truly beautiful, a real calm after the madness of the medina. So many small details that meant a lot, the daily newspaper, the complimentary shoe shine for example.
Dinner at the hotel was the best quality, value (and most filling!)
Our room on the first floor was beautifully decorated and had a television in the room and such lovely toiletries including ‘black soap’ a strange tar like concoction, which was lovely to use as a shower gel!
Breakfast in the sunny terrace was enough to set us up for the day.
A highly recommended place to stay if you can get in there!

Fantastic Riad. Quiet riad, off the beaten track which is nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the medina, but only a 15 min walk away from the markets, and you get to see the real people of Marrakech by staying a bit further out. Rooms were lovely, as was the breakfast which you could could have when and where you wanted. First trip to Morocco and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Marrakech.

We thoroughly enjoyed this riad- excellent service, very hearty breakfast and beautiful room (the suite) with tv, dvd, ipod dock, tocked with all amenities. Very nice extras such as the daily replenished bathroom gels, shampoos, fresh fruit, water, nuts. Free wifi is also a fantastic touch.

This is a beautiful Riad finished to a very high quality. Our room had everything we needed, including shower gel, shampoo, lotion, slippers, bathrobes hair dryer and even an ipod docking station. My wife and I stayed in the Riad el Mansour for 3 nights over Christmas and our experience was excellent. While complimentary airport/train station transfer was available, we chose to do some sight seeing upon our arrival and met Abdess at a pre-arranged landmark, from where he kindly walked us to the Riad. On arrival, we were given a complimentary soft drink and in our room, a map, some fruit and pastries were waiting for us.

During our stay the staff were excellent, helping us with our every need. Abdess reserved dinner for us in a wonderful restaurant, arranged for a taxi to collect us from the riad and to bring us back after and also organised a guide who took us on a leisurely stroll through the medina.

Overall, the Riad is exactly as has been described in the vast majority of the previous reviews and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.

We arrived in the dark (after a 10 hour flight delay with Royal Air Maroc) and were led down a narrow dark alleyway by our taxi driver, just as we were starting to fear for our wallets, we arrived at the studded wooden door to the Riad El Mansour.

We needn't have worried, of course. The welcome (even at 1am) was superb and made us feel immediately at home. We woke late for breakfast but the staff graciously catered for our sleepy heads with a good breakfast.

After breakfast the duty manager gave us an extremely useful briefing (with map) to help us find our way to the highlights of the city and back.

We stayed in the suite and loved it's decor and traditional ambience. Bottled water and dried/fresh fruit was provided daily. We also ate one very good evening meal on the roof of the Riad.

Overall, good hotel made great by it's excellent staff.
