The Riad Altair is a little gem...
The Riad is stunning and in a very good location. It is decorated to a authentic and high standard (like you imagine in a film).
All the staff of Altair is extremely helpful and kind and very friendly and yet very discreet.
The breakfast is so delicious and substancial compare to other riad.... it is really lovely.
the view upstairs on the terrace is great and so welcome after a day of looking around and walking around...
I would highly recommend this property...

Room Tip: All the rooms are little gem....

My partner and I have just returned from 5 nights in Marrakech staying at the Riad Altair - it was a great experience. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility that the Riad offered away from the souks and square. It was pleasant to return to the Riad for a traditional Morrocan mint tea sitting on the sun terrace. The staff were always very helpful and able to respond to all your questions and gave sound advice on. We have had a fantastic cultural experience and loved Marrakech and would stay at Riad Altair again - would recommend it to friends..........

The Riad was conveniently located walking distance from the main attractions Souks. Very welcoming staff that went out of their way to be helpful. Lovely air conditioned room and beautiful setting. The terrace was a great place to hang out and read or just chill.

Booked the Riad Altair, for a romantic Valentines break long weekend. Transfer taxi arrived at airport, which was paid for in advance, the took us to the Riad and showed us around, even sat us by the lovely pool in the picture on this page, and then told us that they did not have a room for us and were going to deposit us somewhere else, but to make up for it they would pay for our evening meal in the alternate Riad.

The replacement was of poor quality in comparison and we had to pay for the drinks with the meal that was 'free'

We were extremely impressed with the Riad, location, the staff, the rooms, the terrace, breakfast, everything..don't have any negative point.
For light sleepers the Musk may wake you up but that is a problem any where in the medina. The hotel also arrange for a trip to the atlas mountains and transfers from and to the airport which was perfect and at a good price.

Great location... incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful staff... and free wifi! Rooms have air conditioning which is perfect because Marrakech is HOT. The breakfast was great each morning and on the one evening we ate in the riad we thought the food was delicious too.

One slight caveat: the local mosque call to prayer is loud and at 5.30 in the morning, every morning...

Room Tip: Maybe try and avoid the ground floor if you want some privacy.
