Lovely Riad down the same side street as Pepe Nero (which is how you find your way back!). The Riad is charming and peaceful, but what makes it special is the staff - Antoine took the time to recommend an itinerary for our first day and showed us how to get to the main square. Simou was also very attentive and we had some very interesting chats (but unfortunately couldn't persuade him to give us a masterclass in haggling!).
We also arranged a meal in the Riad for our first night, which was delicious - especially the home made chocolate!

Credit where credit is due: top praises to the service and staff at Riad Limouna. Thanks to the professionalism and personal touches of Antoine and Simo, it was one of the best experiences I've had with travel accommodations in all my travels, not to mention its ideal location.

Upon arrival, I was amazed to see the internal lobby from a very non-descript small side-street: a spacious area so tastefully decorated including greenery, sitting areas, art, natural light - a great ambiance! Each room had its own character and was immaculate (between our group we've tried 4 rooms). Breakfast was fresh and had that home-prepared taste to it, which is rare. (I think I even saw other guests taking a cooking class! - wish we had time.)

Service was impeccable!! just a few highlights:
- on top of giving an intro to a new city with a map as usual, my friend was walked to the main square so she wouldn't get lost in the evening by herself; Riad is actually really close to Jemaa el-Fnaa and the walk is safe through a couple of small non-vehicle streets (except motorbikes, those go everywhere)
- always someone around to ask a question or get suggestions from, or even just show our daily purchases to!
- airport transfers organised seamlessly
- and my favorite: a birthday cake baked for my friend for our arrival (that I mentioned in an email earlier) including candles and bubbles: unbelievable (and so delicious!)

This level of service can't be faked - it's clear that the staff love what they do and want to make their guests feel as home and welcome as possible with a great experience in Marrakech.

Highly recommend!

Room Tip: All great! (and mind the windows from the bathroom that open to the courtyard ;) )

Well all in all Marakech was ok. But the highlight was staying with Antoine at his Riad. An unassuming door on a small side street gives no impression of the gorgeous house inside. Antoine and his staff made us feel so welcome, even though we arrived at 11pm. One of his guys even came and met us in the small square to guide us in. After checking in and seeing our beautiful room we headed to the roof terrace to decompress. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom was so nice and it had an excellent shower (with plenty of room for two!).
Breakfast was a cracking continental affair on a shared table in the center of the Riad. A small pool looked so inviting and would be perfect for cooling off after a day trekking around the city.
I work in the travel industry and I really must say Antoine had it down to a fine art. Even to the point that my girlfriend has a small crush on him.
We will definitely be back. xxx

My second stay at Riad Limouna, and the experience this time was just as good as the first time. The Riad is charming and comfortable. If you eat-in, the meal will be lovely and interesting. But what makes this Riad stand out is the owner - Antoine. From his initial welcome, the way he takes you to main square on your first day so that you know the way, his interest in you and what you have been doing and the way he checks that everything is good - Antoine is just a delightful and caring host. Better than that, he creates the atmosphere where the boundaries between guests fall away - making the whole stay a delightful experience. Thanks Antoine.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet. Get Antoine to arrange a transfer from the Airport - this oasis of tranquility is hidden away and difficult to find the first time.

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Limouna. We were quite tired and our short stay in Marrakech needed to be a rest as well as a sight seeing trip. Antoine made us feel very welcome and at home. We spent time relaxing on the lovely roof terrace, in the salon and in our room. We ate evening meal twice in the Riad and the food was simply delicious, with explanations of the dishes from Antoine. The Riad is located very well, with just a short walk to the main square in the old city. Antoine accompanied us for our first excursion so we knew the way. It was a real pleasure to open the front door from the busy, hot town and walk into the peace and calm of the riad, a real oasis.

Room Tip: We stayed in Safran room, which was lovely with air conditioning. Simple, but very comfortable.
