This place is awesome! Communication prior to arrival was fantastic and this place is serious value for money in addition to being very tastefully and comfortably styled and covered with art. The transfer was seemless and only took 15 minutes from the airport. On arrival Simo was there to welcome us and from that moment on couldn't do enough to make our visit absolutely perfect. He was a mine of information, great to talk to, nothing was too much trouble and he treated us like a pair of princesses. This extended to keeping our duty free fizz chilled in their fridge and providing us with ice as and when we requested it. Also, not forgetting Sihan whose food is unforgetable, make sure you have at least one meal at the Riad as her food is seriously delicious and too good to miss. Thanks to all, it would've been good to meet Antoine who was on his holidays as I really loved some of his art, but on a positive note, it just means I'll have to come back! I highly recommend this place, I can't fault it and can't wait to for a return trip.

Our small family with 2 children, 12 and 6 all thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days in Riad Limouna. Antoine is a host with real heart and soul, extremely helpful and attentive to his guests requirments, going in our case above and beyond the call of duty for us to fix us breakfast before an early departure. His attention to detail is reflected everywhere from the decor of the rooms to the gentle soundtrack to special homemade chocolates and ice cream. Our youngest preferred spending time at the riad to venturing into town to see the many delights of Marakesch - wise beyond her 6 years. Highly recommended....

Antoine who runs this Riad is the most helpful man. He couldn't do enough for us and our friends, from reconfirming our desert tour, calling the train station about tickets to Casablanca, walking us to the main square and much much more, he's also just very lovely.

On top of the hospitality the Riad is gorgeous. Very well designed, spacious and quiet. It's a great location in the Medina.

The large doubles are practically suites, the only downside is the curtain that acts as a 'door' to the bathroom, so if this is a romantic trip early in the relationship perhaps opt for a different room.

Dear Shannon,

Thank you very much to have take time to write our comments , all the staff like to read that you appreciate the Riad Limouna way of life.
About your feeling for the bathroom door, i 'm happy to tell you that we start to modify that and we will put doors between room and bathroom.
All your comments are very important for us, and we try to make the best for your comfort in our riad.
All the best

Although I was in quite a hurry (one day trip), I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Riad Limouna. Antoine (the owner) truly went out of his way to help me with my stay, including helping me with airport transfers, train station transfers, booking a restaurant and serving me an early breakfast at 6am. The place itself is a haven of tranquility amid the bustle of Marrakech, with a nice interior garden and lovely small pool to cool down after a day of walking in the summer heat. I second the comments about Pepe Nero, which is indeed a very nice restaurant. My only gripe is that I should have stayed longer... maybe next time.

Arriving in the old walled city of Medina is quite overwhelming as the streets are narrow and the vibe is very old world. On having trouble locating our Riad Anton our host was available by phone to talk us in Upon arrival we were welcomed by Aton, stepping from the narrow alley into our Riad it was a good 10 degrees cooler than outside which was around 38 degreesThe decor was super cool classic Arabian photography tropical plants in massive pots with cool muzak .the ground floor had a small dip pool for a most refreshing cool down .felt like i was in a desert oasis with hot tea and ambiance .It is a two story Riad. with the top floor being a rooftop terrace where you can hang out and breathe the atmosphere which is thick and heady. Anton walked us to the market square pointing out the key signage that ensured we could find our way home in the maze of streets .The rooms were comfortable and clean with aircon and clean towels .I would of liked stay at longer Riad Limoune its really cool Anton is a great host .And have no hesitation recommending to anyone that wants to experience the Riad style accommodation

Room Tip: didn't see the other rooms

A lovely, serene, even artistic space in a superb location — you'd really be hard-pressed to find something better than Limouna.

The riad is an idealistic haven just enough away from hectic Jemaa el-Fna and the souks. One of the best parts about the riad is that it's next door to a very popular restaurant called Pepe Nero (recommended!), so there are signs all around the area pointing you in the right direction. It's hard to get lost, which you'll learn to appreciate.

The owner, Antoine, is super attentive. He walked us to the Square upon checking in — a service all Marrakech riads should offer — and was at our service whenever we had questions. His staff serves a light, delicious breakfast every morning with coffee and tea. Mint tea is available at the riad all day.

Our room was very comfortable, and quiet. There is air conditioning.

You've got a winner here.

Lovely Riad down the same side street as Pepe Nero (which is how you find your way back!). The Riad is charming and peaceful, but what makes it special is the staff - Antoine took the time to recommend an itinerary for our first day and showed us how to get to the main square. Simou was also very attentive and we had some very interesting chats (but unfortunately couldn't persuade him to give us a masterclass in haggling!).
We also arranged a meal in the Riad for our first night, which was delicious - especially the home made chocolate!
