We stayed at this Riad based on research & trip advisor and were not disappointed! Its a home from home and a little sanctuary away from the bustle of the medina that gives you time to draw breath. Georgina and Massimo could not have been more welcoming, they arranged the collection to and from the airport, dinner on arrival and a day trip to the atlas mountains and a spa / hammam not to be missed!...
On our arrival Massimo was waiting for us at the taxi stop and he then went through the map and highlighted the must see and the point to avoid and when to avoid them, his own little map showing the best ways in and out, made us feel very at home staright away!
I would suggest having dinner here at least once . the roof top terrace is great to spend a night under the stars and the food was exceptional!!
Breakfast was great each day, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and the suggestions they gave us perfect..
the location is great and within minutes walk of everywhere, the building restored and decorated in an exceptional manner and very authentic
This is not a big corporate hotel, so dont expect anything more than the feel of staying in a big house and feeling part of the family and enjoy the personal touch, the Marrakech experience is definitely enhanced staying here.

Staying at Riad Le Clos des Arts will double your enjoyment of a visit to Marrakech. It is that simple. The hospitality of the owner/managers Giorgina and Massimo, the comfort of the small hotel, and the quality of the in-house food combine to make it an outstanding experience. You will feel that you have been dropped into the charming house of old friends who know the local culture and tourist opportunities very well and are anxious to help you maximize your enjoyment. From the first email exchange, you will realize that these are special people. Most highly recommended.

An excellent riad, in the perfect location, extremely well run by friendly and efficient staff, fantastic breakfast on the rooftop terrace, and beautiful, quiet rooms. The food, especially at dinner, was to die for - by far the best we had during our two weeks stay in Morocco. Overall, could not be better.

Absolutely loved it!
The riad itself has been lovingly restored and furnished in keep with the character of morish architecture enriched by sumptuous fabrics and soft lighting that enhances the beauty and subtle sophistication of the building.
it is convenintly located in the Medina within easy reach of all the main places of interest and perfect to soak in the atmospher of the local community.
From the moment we arrived with a warm welcome from Massimo who picked us up at the taxi and walked us to the riad and the informative chat over a mint tea and lovely homemade
biscuits up to the moment we left, thanks to his and Giorgina local knowledge we did not put a
foot wrong. The advise they give is invaluable and they will go out of their way to make sure
you will have a memorable stay and enjoy the wonderful city that Marrakech is.
Their work ethic is second to none and this is reflected by the standards of all the fantastic team that works under their supervision, always with a smile and available to fullfill any request.
The food served is to die for and a total authentic culinary experience from the fresh and varied breakfast to the homely dinner tagines this has been some of the best food we had.
It has been like staying with long time friends. The only downside was that we eventually had to leave.
Thank you Giorgina,Massimo and all the staff for a wonderful experience!
We will be back soon!

We stayed here with our kids (9, 13 and 15) and we all had a great time!

The stay started with an informative and pleasant reception by the owners of the Riad. They quickly familiarized us with the dos and don'ts assisting us to make the most of our days in Marrakech.
The Riad is an oasis of rest and comfort within the middle of the buzzing city. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well-furnished and the food and service is great. The location is optimal to explore this amazing city!
We felt very welcome and spoiled by our hosts Giorgina and Massimo, a great couple. We can recommend this address to all.

Thanks Giorgina and Massimo!!!

My wife and I wondered before our arrival whether the glowing reviews of this wonderful Riad would be justified but in fact we were unprepared for the well nigh perfect nature of our week's stay with Massimo and Giorgina. We can only echo the numerous glowing comments made by previous reviewers which do not need to be repeated here but we would like to make a special reference to the staff who were uniformly excellent and looked after us with unfailing courtesy and kindness. We had a wonderful time and are already looking to book a return trip next Easter, the anticipation of which will help us through a long Scottish winter!! John and Pamela
