The riad is impossible to find on your own from the street (even though it is quite central). The building is hidden deep down in a labirynth of dark dead ends. Presuming it may be difficult to find, we ordered a driver from riad to bring us from the airport (even though they asked 20€ for it). The driver has not turned up and we finally found a taxi outside the airport for 12€. Unfortunately once dropped off in the street we were unable to find the riad. One of the hustlers who live off tourists offered help and walked us through the of small streets labirynth for 4 or 5 mins. We offered him £1 for a service, but he was unhappy and asked for £10 for it! When we refused to pay he became aggresive and in the end we heard "f*** you!". Very unpleasant start!! As one may say this is not directly related to the riad itself (although for me it is), further issues included:
- limited hot water (which is something you DO NOT expect when you pay 125€/night). We stayed there over 3 nights and I complained about not having enough hot water after the first night, but it only helped for one night and on the last night we had to take shower in lukewarm water again.
- small, cold and dark room
- no TV
Nice building, but grossly overproced and - in honesty - I would not stay there again. After this experience we decided to stay outside the medina in Ibis which was 60€ and offered unlimited hot water with no surprises like "f*** you!" instead of "welcome!"

We had the pleasure of staying at the Riad for 6 nights in December and had an amazing time. Patrick and his staff were so helpful and attended to our every need. My husband and i travelled with our three month old daughter and parents - we stayed in two beautifully decorated rooms and enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard. The staff were so helpful and sterilised our daughters milk bottles every day. We enjoyed an evening meal at the Riad and two of the ladies offered to look after our daughter whilst we enjoyed the meal. Khalid, Mustafa, Mohammed, Hafsa, Deba, Fatima and many other ladies were so great. Ali the driver that picked us up from the airport also took us to the Atlas mountains and the trip included a stop at a true Berber carpet store, Saffron Gardens and he was more than happy to stop for us to take photos. Khalid was great and drew us a simple map to get through the alley ways to the big square and it was perfect to help us get around. Do not be worried walking to the hotel as the alley ways might be dull, but the Riad is truly beautiful.

I had a wonderful stay here with my girlfriend at the end of November. The Riad is beautiful with amazing traditional artesian furniture and lots of thought having gone into its decoration by the owner, Patrick. It is truly an oasis of calm situated in a great location in the middle of the bustling medina. The staff are wonderful and make every effort to making your stay as relaxed as possible - from serving Moroccan mint tea on demand to giving you fantastic tips of things to see and do around the city. A highlight was certainly the breakfast on the roof terrace in the sun each morning and we ate dinner at the riad one night which was probably one of the best meals we had during our stay in Morocco. I would certainly recommend staying at this riad and we hope to return at some stage in the future.

Dominic

The chilled out atmosphere and the friendly staff made the experience a wonderful experience. Extremely happy with the stay and the breakfast on the roof terrace made the morning a very relaxing start.

I visited this Riad last december to escape the snow in England. It was my first trip to Marrakech and we were not let down by our choice of accommodation. We were collected from the airport and met by the owner and his staff on arrival. After a welcome pot of tea and treats, we unpacked before Ishmael briefed us on the city and things to do, places to eat, etc. He was very helpful, as was Patrick the owner.

We ate at the Riad on two nights; traditional Moroccan tagines that were of excellent quality.

The Riad is a beautiful oasis from the busy city of Marrakech!

The location of Les Trois Palmiers is close to the main square (10 minute walk) and you get there via streets of souks. We were also advised by the Riad staff on how to haggle and a rough price that tourists should expect to pay.

Would stay here again if we returned to Marrakech.
