Have just returned from 7 nights at Riad Tizwa, which was definitely the calm quiet space needed once you've had enough haggling in the Souks.

The Riad is beautiful, stunning rooms, great shared spaces, the terrace in particular is a great place to spend a few hours in the sunshine. Had dinner on 2 nights, the first was good, the second was superb - I'd recommend having dinner on the terrace rather than downstairs. Breakfast was fantastic - we found fresh tea and coffee outside our door every morning before going upstairs to eat on the terrace - lots of fresh fruit, cereal, bread, pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice and more coffee - brilliant!

The Riad's greatest asset is the staff - welcoming, charming, attentive - we were very very well looked after!

Would certainly recommend Riad Tizwa to friends & family and look forward to visiting the Riad Fes in the future!

Superb experience!
Getting picked up at the airport is a plus and hassle free. Loved it.
Hotel is fantastic. The centre of attention is the main patio with the floor fountain. The atmosphere with dimmed lights, red moroccan carpets, etc... totally envolves you and makes you feel good and very relaxed. Watch for the hotel's pet: a lovely turttle!!!
The rooms are very nice, espacious, superbly decorated, comfortable.... there is no words to describe the serenity you can get!
The extra points come with fresh coffee first thing in the morning, outside your room. What else can you ask for? And it taste delicious.
Once you are ready, your only worry is to decide where to have your breakfast! I have to say, the roof terrace is the place to be.
It'll keep you going for the whole morning. Loved the mueli!!!!!
Staff at the Riad is kind, generous, attentive.... They really look after you!!! Ask them anything and they'll arrange it for you.

You will feel at home!!!! One of my best experiences!
Definetely this Riad will see me again.

Just had 4 days in Marrakech, a bustling, in your face city - be prepared! take plenty of low denomination notes! Once behind the unassuming facade of Riad Tizwa, peaceful sanctuary awaits. An amazing place. Beautiful from the tiled 'courtyard' floor up to the roof terrace. Marvellous attentive staff, always there if you need them with their friendly and helpful attitude, good English spoken. Breakfast is superb, served anywhere you want it to be. Optional lunch/dinner is also excellent. Rooms are unspoilt and, I guess, traditional, comfortable, spotlessly clean & well decorated. 5 stars do not do Riad Tizwa justice, if you have to see Marrakech, stay here, central enough to walk the city sights in a day, then shut it all behind you when that big door closes!

We prebooked dinner on arrival as we would be latish and it was excellent as was breakfast every morning on the roof terrace. More like a private moroccan house than hotel, particularly due to the amiable, helpful staff, each bedroom round the classic central courtyard has its points but we didn't regret paying a bit more for No1 on the first floor. Guide book in hand you can just plunge into the adjacent alleyways through the souks to the Place Jemma El Fna where it all happens in the evening, or to all the other sites, sounds and smells! Some good restaurants nearby, too.

A perfect way to start the Year......

My girlfriend and i booked 14 days in Morocco with the hope to see everything: cities, mountains, sand, sea, desert etc..... BUT following a boat ride from southern spain and a night in Tangier we got to FES and then Marrakech

We took a bit of a punt and booked to stay with the same Riad company in both Fes and Marrakech as they said they would help us travel between the to places. .... Right choice!

So, Riad Tizwa arranged that we got picked in Fes , well looked after there for a few days and then transferred to the wild Marrakech

The transfer from Fes to Marrakech couldnt have been easier. They organised, our train tickets (go first class), a driver and a packed lunch. Easy as that. OK its 7 hours by train - but that is part of the adventure. Same treatment in Marrakech. Picked up and taken to the riad. Same nice design touches, like natural soap, simple design and ipod docking stations. The house is simpler that the Fes palace but the rest of marrakech is more mad. INfact this house is a very welcome break. Marrakech is crazy.... We planned to stay here for only 2 nights but stayed for 5!

The staff of the riads were easy going - in a good way and the places just kind of worked. Breakfast when YOU want them, fresh juices (were welcome after a night at Pasha)....

Plenty to do in Marrakech. Good bars, restaurants , clubs.. actually, we spent a lot of time in clubs and bed!!! Infact i think we now hold the riad tizwa record of the latest ever breakfast at 3:30pm!!

Basically did lots of sleeping and lots of chilling.

The funniest moment was when we asked for a hammam in marrakech with a person to come in and exfoliate us etc and as we sat there in the hot room - in walked Malikka from FES! She was working in Marrakech too! or was it a twin? With the warm welcome and the friendly face she set about us with a very strong scrub.

SO out the window went the beach, the culture and the rest of morcocco. Definitely going back. Happy to stay in Tizwa(s) again as they just made you relax.

Great staff, nice rooms, easy going and all just cool
