I was a little anxious about arriving so late (11.30pm) at the airport and having to find my way to the riad, but was greeted by the local taxi service (Hassan), organised by Aidan, so arrived safe and sound, to be greeted by the night guardian and my friends who had arrived earlier, had settled in and had met the other guests over a home cooked traditional dinner - shame I missed it by all accounts.
The room was comfortable, even with three of us in it, and after a good night's sleep we tucked in to a yummy breakfast, before heading out into the souks and exploring the various sights, that start only a few minutes walk away. Aidan's a good guide and also has lots of ideas on itineraries (trips to the mountains/coast) and recommendations for food etc.
It's lovely to return to the piece and quiet of the riad when you're tired and dusty, to cups of tea (traditional or mint) and being able to relax by the pool up on the terrace or in the sumptuous lounges, and just chill out.
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

I had certain requirements that I need for this trip as it was a birthday present for my partner. The whole trip ticked every box, weather and culture.

But the Riad Les Trois made the whole trip complete. I cannot express how wonderful it was. I have stayed in 5 star hotels to Blackpool B&B's and I can say quite confidently this was the best of them all. Aidan and the staff made us feel right at home.

If I ever return to Marrakesh I won't think of staying anywhere else.

Have just returned from our first trip to Marrakech, we happened to arrive on the same day as the king of Morocco and the analogy stuck because we were thrilled with the royal reception at our little palace tucked away in the northern end of the Medina. Behind an unassuming brown door in unremarkable pink alley way we found ourselves in a beautiful haven with wonderful food, stylish decor, bowls of fresh roses everywhere, a heated pool on the roof, fantastically helpful staff and dozens of little touches that made us smile, such as electric blankets and roaring log fires when the hot winter sun went down and a contant supply of complimentary mint tea and snacks on a silver tray when ever we felt inclined. The Riad is well located for the main attractions of Marrakech. It's a short walk north to the Marjorelle Gardens and south to the souks, palaces and main square. Being first time visitors we particularly appreciated the great care and attention of the staff in helping us to plan excusions and nights out and, in one case sending out a cheerful search party when I had clearly got lost. The atmosphere was very relaxed, friendly and peaceful, with only the odd bird swooping down into the courtyard or someone playing the baby grand in the music room to disturb the silence . The rooms are individually and lovingly furnished and a spare bed was added to our double room at no extra charge for my teenage daughter. We are already planning our next trip.

The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. For a first visit to Marrakech we thought the location was excellent. Plenty to do and see within walking distance and short, cheap journeys by taxi for more to see. Breakfast on the roof terrace a must especially after the grey skies of London.Take advice from staff on best places to eat,we had some lovely meals. All in all, a fantastic short break and have already recommended to friends.

Just arrived back from Riad Les Trois Mages and have to say its the best place I've ever stayed in. The staff are superb and eveyrthing was taken care of, We were met at the airport by a driver who had been sent by the staff. It is only 20 minutes by car from the airport to the Riad.

We had a wonderful evening meal waiting for us, the food was sumptous and beautifully presented,

The 5 bedrooms are very tradtionally Morrocan and there are lots of places to relax within the Riad.

There is a lovely piano room with a Roland electric piano and guitars and other instruments for the musically minded and a wondeful lounge area where you can sit near the open fire in the evening take teaand read some of the numerous books that are available to guests.
.
Don;t miss the chance to have a day in the stunning Oureka Valley and trip to the waterfalls, The excursion was arranged via the Riad at a reasonable price and our wonderful guide Ali was first class. and ensured that all our needs were met. We loved the visit to the traditional berber house in the valley and the camel rides.

The children loved the heated pool on the roof with the sun beds and the tented area were we took tea. We had a massage at Riad on the first day which was lovely.

We got lots of bargains in the Souk and enjoyed buying the local produce, The bread, fruit, nuts, dates and vegetables were all so fresh.

We want to go back next year and have already contacted the Riad to enquire about availability

The Riad is a real gem; it seems that every decoration piece, room furniture and illumination were picked by an excellent interior designer...so beautiful...
it was a great pleasure to stay there and enjoy the hospitalityof Aidan and his team;
The Riad night guard also gave us a lot of advice about good shopping places in the medina back streets...
Riad Les Trois Mages is one of the most charming places we have stayed for many years...
