Absolutely beautify. Everyone on the staff was incredibly helpful. We speak English only, but with the patience of the staff, had no difficulties with check in/out, meal orders, or anything else we needed. A member of the staff is there 24hrs/day. Rooms were clean, roomy and well lit. Pool is a dream, wish we could have spent more time there!!! If we make it back to Marrakech we will certainly stay here again. Upon arrival, call ahead and let the staff know you are coming with luggage - they met us with 2 local gentlemen with carts and lead us back to the riad, we never would have managed, or found it the first time without them!! Easy to find once you knew where you were going. As previous reviews have mentioned, there are a number of gentlemen who stand on the main corner offering to carry your bags for you or set up transportation (borderline hassling), if you have this set up before you get to the corner you will be able to confidently decline their offer.

We have had a very positive experience during our 2 night stay here. We got an upgrade to an amazing room which, as a young couple,we were very thankful for. The host is a very friendly, no nonsense lady with a sense of good humor. The dinner was sublime and different from other dinners we had in Morocco (welcome after 10days of eating couscous).

We spent 2 nights in Marrakech in 2 different riads. This one was definitely the better one by far (albeit more expensive). At around 170 Euros per room per night, they offered an excellent room with nice shower facilities, stable hot water supply and a nice bed. The view from the riad’s swimming pool was also excellent. Location was good.

Service was excellent. After we checked out, we stayed at the riad before our flight for drinks and food. We bought fruits from outside. The riad staff was so kind that they offered to cut the fruit into small pieces so that we could use fork to eat the fruits neatly. All of this service was free!

2 bad issues:
Arrival – The riad was inside a small local alley. A lot of people hang around the streets. When we arrived at the main street next to the riad by car (since car couldn’t drive into the small alley), 2 guys came to our car to offer to carry our suitcases to the riad (in return for tips). However, they competed for our suitcases and tried to snatch them from each other. BUT THOSE WERE OUR SUITCASES! Our group certainly felt unsafe about our suitcases, and at that point I had to voice out to stop them. The riad owner was with us ALL ALONG but she didn’t (and presumably couldn’t) do anything to stop them. She should be able to plan ahead better since this couldn’t be the first time it happened (e.g. bringing a male staff together with her).

Location – one of the guys who competed for our suitcases stayed on the street for the entire night. When we came back out from the riad after checking in (like an hour later), he approached us again to try to offer other things (e.g. cigarette, restaurant, alcohol). He followed us for a substantial extent that we felt dangerous about him. Fortunately, he didn’t do anything too agitated. Some locals also shouted across to ask him to stop pestering us.

Recently returned from Riad Chergui and Marrakech, the accommodation is a delight and decorated with a French/Moroccan influence. The service and standards at the Riad are excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others because guests are pampered and after walking the streets of Marrakech this is the perfect place to retire at the end of a hectic day,

There are so many Riads to chose from in Marrakech and I am delighted we chose the Riad Chergui. It simply made the trip. When visiting a hectic and sometimes overwhelming city like Marrakech you learn to really value peace, tranquility and the highest standards of service and comfort. The Riad Chergui will not dissapoint on any of these fronts. The Riad is small and intimate and the staff make you feel at home and anticipate your needs without being intrusive. The location is perfect for just about everything in the guide books. The decor is simple and stylish with some interesting traditional Morrocan features. The pool area is particularly lovely and breakfast pool-side in the shade of the morning sun is the perfect way to start the day. Emmanuelle, your French hostess is great and can't do enough for her guests. You just can't go wrong with the Riad Chergui.

Room Tip: My personal preference would be for rooms directly overlooking the pool or patio.

A fantastic place to stay in Marrakech. Very quiet, but just a couple of minutes walk from the souk. We had a great room, and the staff and owner couldn't have been more helpful. There's a very relaxed atmosphere here, I'd definitely stay again. Top marks.

Along with many of the other visitors to this Oasis, in the middle of Marrakech, my wife and I had a fabulous stay. The staff all made us feel so welcome, and when we arrived late at night we were given a great Moroccan welcome by Nordeen (pronounced Nordeen I'm not sure how his name is actually spelt) with a log fire burning and mint tea with mini pastries.
Our room was beautifully decorated with lots of Moroccan touches , there were rose petals on the bed and in the bathroom which was a lovely touch.
We had sumptuous breakfasts every morning; breads, croissants, jams, honey, scrambled eggs, yogurt, tea/coffee and fresh juice. The staff were super friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.
For once the brochures and pictures online do not do the Riad enough justice as it is even more pleasant in person.
We visited in March and the temperature was already up to 28° C, which meant we could enjoy the sun terrace on the roof and found all it's little sections really nice and private, plus having a toilet upstairs was really handy. The air con in our room worked perfectly.

My wife did not take the plunge (literally) into the pool, but I swam every day and although not heated it really did offer relief from the heat and dust of the day.
Right in the centre of the Medina it was the perfect location for getting to the Souks (5mins away) or the main square (10mins away).
We thoroughly recommend this Riad to all. We will be returning !
