“Always Enchanting”

When the world is too much with us we call Ron for a quick escape to Hayati where we are assured a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for us stressed out city folk. All is super calm and total relaxation at this enchanting place.

It really ticks all the boxes: Graceful elegance, charm, very personal, discreet service, but the real secret here is sincere hospitality without a hint of attitude or pretention. We've met so many interesting and attractive people who keep returning.

The medina is the only place to stay in Marrakech and Hayati has a perfect location for the markets and all the sights. The neighborhood is charming with Moroccans and Europeans living side by side and the merchants are much less aggressive when they know you are staying at Hayati. We always feel very comfortable just strolling around the little streets talking to people.

If you haven't guessed by now, we love Riad Hayati.

Room Tip: The charming palm suite with its private terrace and tiny pool is a treat. It even has a a butlet...

We have just returned from Marrakech after 5 wonderful days at Riad Hayati . We were welcomed into the wonderful Hayati by Mina & Abddlhak My very dearest friends who run the Riad for
My dear friend Ron ,it is a Gem In the heart of the Medina (walled. City) the accomadation is elegant & deliciously gorgeous in every way . The food is the Best in Town---Nobody does it better than Mina. At the moment the Riad Hayati is splendiferous in all it's colour the Bourganville flowers cascade over the balconies into the fabulously Devine courtyard with an ancient Syrian Fountain. We have been to Riad Hayati and return each time with joy and cannot recommend staying here enough to the new traveller who would love to experience Marrakech in lovely elegant surroundings in very good hands .. They will both meet you at the Airport and drop you off sadly when you too have to say goodbye to an amazing experience! All I can say is have a fabulous time take lots of photos it is the most Amazing place in the most exciting city with the Atlas mountains watching over you.

Well, it's official. I'm forty. And, thanks to Ron and his Riad Hayati it was a fabulous four-day celebration with our friends.

Mina and Abdel really know how to make things special. A candlelit dinner party in the gorgeous grand salon with a hundred roses, and dancing to the sounds of soul Arabic afterwards. Even the "morning after" was glorious with freshly baked bread and homemade jam and rich French coffee. And , once you've had Marrakech orange juice you you'll never forget what real orange juice tastes like. The roof terrace is a garden of delights with palm trees, citrus and olive trees. What a superb way to start the day.

The riad is simply stunning but retains it's lovely charm and intimacy. And, lest I forget, Mina's food is brilliant. Every meal was special.

A Very big thank you to Riad hayati from Brooke and Charles.

It's just wonderful here. Ron invites you to feel totally at home , and home is an elegant 18th century mini mansion which has remained a wonderful private residence much loved by its owner and guests.
It's a perfect base for exploring Marrakech and the Berber villages or just an utterly romantic getaway. Our stay at Hayati conincided with Ron't birthday celebration with friends from Marrakech and London. We were invited to join and treated like one of the family. Receiving friends and guests is second nature to Ron and his staff. We were just so beautifully looked after. No bling or flash, just simple elegance and top notch service. Mina and Abdel, the brother and sister team who kept things ticking flawlessly, have our sincere thanks. Mina's wonderful home cooking was a constant treat and Abdel's charm and unfailing efficiency just spoiled us and made our stay so memorable.

Our first visit to this magical city and we were hooked. It's a strange fusion of very traditional Moroccan with French chic. Riad Hayati is a perfect example of this wonderful balance. The house is a stunning graceful residence in typical Moroccan style with a distinct Persian influence from the owner's travels in the Middle East. But, the main emphasis is comfort, hospitality and relaxation.

In stark contrast to the dusty din of the medina the riad is a cool oasis of tranquility. Once inside those walls the air is fresh, fountains gurgle, birds twitter and wonderful aromas come from Mina's kitchen. You just know you're going to be happy here.

Everything was taken care of from the moment we stepped out of the airport. Abdel greeted us and whisked us off to the riad. Fifteen minutes later we found ourselves in that stunning courtyard with incense wafting and soft Arabic music. Mina had prepared wonderful supper for us by candlelight.

The rooms are extremely comfortable with so many thoughtful details. Robes, slippers, herbal soaps and amenities from the mountain vilages. There are masses of roses throughout the house and they actually smelled like roses.

This is simply a wonderful place with wonderful hospitality and charm. We are totally hooked and looking forward to our next stay.

Room Tip: We peeked at all the rooms and they are each designed for beauty and character, But comfort is para...

We've been here in every season . Simply put, Riad Hayati is a sparkling little jewel with the best serivce we've had anywhere- warm, friendly and incredibly effiicient. Abdel and Mina will simply melt your heart. They know all their regular guests' favorites and it all just flows without fuss.

What we love at Hayati is its perfect balance of understated elegance with a homey feeling. You feel it immediately you walk through that simple door into a dramatic all white garden courtyard with a gurgling fountain and sondbirds. Bedrooms are extremely comfortable with masses of flowers, fruit and bath amenities from the Berber villages. Mina's cooking is an exceptional treat and we dine in the riad most nights.

Located in one of those quiet lanes, the location is extremely convenient for transport and right in the heart of three ancient palaces and a few minutes stroll to the famous Place Jemaa El Fna, the soul of Marrakech. You can spend an entire weekend seeing the sights just minutes from the riad or travel to the Atlas which is just over an hour away.

We love it and come as often as we can.

We cannot say enough about our stay at Riad Hayati. It is really so utterly stunning and charming. It's has the ambiance and service of an upperclass private residence elegantly designed for comfort and tranquility with a staff that really know what they are doing, and do it very well. This is a place to hide with your lover. Utterly romantic at night with blazing candles, exotic incense , and soft soulful Arabic music. A little world made to dream in. We just loved it.
Exactly what we needed :)
