I arrived in Marrakech with my son for a short holiday. I pre booked this Riad which is in the Medina. The owner Ron, arranged for Abdel to meet us at the airport, late in the evening. Abdel brought us to the Riad, and his sister, a wonderful cook, presented us with a beautiful dinner on our arrival. Abdel and his sister work full-time in the Riad. They are a great team and they pamper and look after their guests in a thoughtful, wise and practical way. Abdel and his sister are proud of the Riad. This is evident in the way they look after their guests. This is not merely providing good service, they also provide practical advice and services for outings, restaurants and plotting one's way through the mesmeric Souks and Jemma el-Fna. For them it is not a chore or a job, they just want guests to have the best experience possible.
Our en-suite bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and most of all dramatic. They looked out onto a terrace. A small kitchenette with a fridge was beside my room so that if guests wished to spend the whole day in the Riad, this would have been perfectly viable. The Riad, with its Atrium, Terraces, Rest Rooms, Dining Room is a Haven in the middle of a very energetic city.
Every day we spent in Riad Hayati was a joyous experience. On our final day I lazed around the flower-filled terrace reading my book, while my son went shopping. There was never any question that we should leave at a fixed time. Abdel put it succinctly, "This is your home in Marrakech. Stay until you are ready to go." and he meant it.

Room tip: The Riad provides a local gentleman who can guide you through the Souks.

We absolutely loved staying at Riad Hyati; the only disappointment was that Ron, the owner, with whom we’d had fun communicating, wasn’t there. But Abdel – an absolutely delightful man, looked after us with utter care and attention and his sister Mina cooked the most wonderful (complimentary) first dinner for us; we were torn between staying and eating more of her lovely food and exploring the
restaurants of Marrakech which Ron had recommended and which Abdul booked for us.

The Riad itself is a jewel full of gorgeous curiosities and our suite – consisting of a dressing room and luxurious bathroom below, then on the ground floor, a fabulous bedroom and sitting room, with glorious plantings and a plunge pool outside, and above that a terrace with amazing views over Marrakech.

It simply isn’t possible to recommend Riad Hyati too highly.
We can’t wait to go back.

Room tip: We stayed in the suite, which was perfect

Fantastic riad ideally located in the Medina. Close to the action (able to do most sighsteeing on foot) but tucked away on a quiet side street, which makes it a nice escape in a city that can be a little hectic. Our room was gorgeous and I cannot say enough about the service - Abdel and Mina took terrific care of us. I will definitely return next time I go to Marrakech!

Just moments away from the bustle of the medina, down a romantic cobblestone alley is the exquisite and elegant Riad Hayati. You step through a wooden doorway into an oasis that overwhelms your senses. Beautiful design, tasteful décor, delicious food and excellent service make it a joy to stay and a struggle to leave.

This is a lovely Riad looked after with great sympathy by brother and sister team Mina and Abdel Hak. Mina is a great cook and nothing is too much for both. The Riad has an excellent location in a quiet part of the medina but close to the Bahia place, Mellah and main square. Ron, the owner is very helpful and will make you feel like this is your home whether in residence or communicating from afar. Highly recommended.
