We've stayed at Hayati several times in the last three years. It really is quite special in its understated elegance and brilliant service.

My wife and I often invite our friends for a "de-stress" week here. The atmosphere in the house is intimate, personal, but never overbearing. Ron always urges us to make ourselves totally at home and indeed we do. Late breakfasts in our robes, quiet nooks for reading or just day dreaming and ,if we time it right, the bourgainvillea will be in bloom and the whole house becomes a wonderland as the petals gently fall into the courtyard. At night, by candlelight it is a veritable stage set.

Mina and Abdel seem to remember everything about every guest who has been there before and our room is filled with my favorite pink roses and rosemary scented soaps and lotions.

Still first class and quite wonderful.

What can I say that hasn't been said before. This place is simply made for romance.
We had heard about the riad from some newlywed friends, but even their raves did not prepare us for Hayati's delicious ambiance. It's elegant but truly remarkable in its lack of pretention.

From the moment we arrived at the airport and were taken in charge by Abdel to our first glipse of our little suite our grins just kept getting wider. Hayati has it all. Beauty, comfort and the most incredible service. Like everything else, the service is impeccable but discreet. We were alone when we wanted to be , but at the touch of a call button breakfast, aperitifs or dinner arrived.

We had a private terrace with a little plunge pool, lounge chairs,a cd player and ipod dock ,masses of flowers in the room and a little "butler's pantry" stocked with water, wine, fruit , snacks, and essentially anything we requested.

Hayati is a bit of much needed romance.

We had just finished a fabulous week at Riad Hayati and were
beginning to be sad about leaving. So when the volcanic ash closed the London airports we had a choice of staying in Marrakech or trying to reach England by land. The sight of stranded travelers in Spain and France kept us in Marrakech. It was the best decision we could have made.

Ron arranged things so we could keep our room. He offered up drinks and wonderful dinners for the full house and we were all quite happy to wait it out until the airports opened. Even the weather cooperated for a full week of sunshine.

The reviews are spot on. Riad Hayati is simply a dream, an elegant, supremely comfortable dream. With an overflowing house, Abdel, Mina and Asma worked flat out and the service never faltered. Ron was the perfect host who knows how to receive guests and make them feel at home and comfortable. He even loaned us dirhams when we ran out of cash . When we finally returned home and asked for our our bill, it was minus all the meals we had for the week. Ron called it "exceptional circumstances" and wouldn't accept payment. He's a class act!

Many, many thanks to all at Hayati. You turned a problem into a pleasure!

What a wonderful place this is! Quiet elegance and extreme comfort with personal service that will melt your heart.

The word Hayati, we learned, is one of the most beautiful words in the Arabic language. It means "My Life" and is used as a term of extreme endearment to a loved one. You can certainly feel it in the ambiance of the riad. It's so beautiful and elegant without a hint of pretention. Lush courtyard gardens, a terrace with palms, olive and citrus trees and even a little plunge pool . Fountains gurgle, birds sing . A bit of extreme tranquility in the midst of the bustling medina.

The place is immaculate. Mina and Abdel offer impeccable service and Mina is somewhat of a Moroccan Julia Child who produces daily culinary delights with a little twinkle in her eye. Fresh breads, wonderful tajines and heavenly French desserts. My wife spent hours in the kitchen learning to make Mina's perfect sauce for couscous and poulet aux olives.

Abdel is a charming young man who could stand along side of any seasoned concierge. He is well connected in the restaurant andf tour circuit and is never undone
by last minute changes.

This is a well run, classy place. Very highly reccomended

My husband and I have traveled around the world and often invite our friends to stay at the places we've rented. We are a fussy group and not easy to please. But, I must say straight away that Riad Hayati has got to be one of the most delightful places we've ever stayed at. It has that perfect ambiance of a private home with all the comforts and service of a well run boutique.

It was the perfect place to have our reunion of friends for a week. There's something for everybody. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, impeccable service and a dream location next to the Bahia Palace, the Dar Si Said Museum, the souks and literally a minute's walk from two excellent restaurants. The riad is located is a quiet, clean cul de sac, but it' has perfect access to a parking square where we had no trouble finding taxis.

It's true what guests have said about Mina and her brother Abdel. They keep things running flawlessly. And Ron, the owner, is a wondeful host, a real gentlemen of the old school who insists that guests treat Hayati as theeir home in Marrakech.

This place is an absolute dream. We loved it and you will, too.

We stayed at Riad Hayati for a marvelous five days this month and we were absolutely delighted. The riad is utterly charming with a quiet beauty and the most amazing service.

Our visit to Marrakech was complemented in so many ways because of our stay at Hayati.
Abdel is able to make or change redservations at the last minute. Mina can produce a feast a short notice and Ron, the owner, gave us accurate critiques of the restaurants and "musts" of the city.

We are delighted we found this little treasure.

This is to say thank you to Ron, Abdel and Mina for our most wonderful birthday party last week at Riad Hayati. They really did pull out all the stops to make it a fabulous, memorable celebration.

Our room was filled with masses of flowers, complimentary wine and fruit. At breakfast we were treated to "birthday croissanta" with candles and that evening a veritable gala by candlight. Mina's wonderful tajines and her signature chocolate gateau with a bonfire of candles. Then dancing and more drinks in "le grand salon." Dreamy!

The Hayati is absolutely exquisite in an understated elegant manner. Rooms are airy, filled with light and so deliciously comfortable. The baths are utterly seductive. I won't go into detail, but ours was big enough for the both of us and we took advantage of the fact.

I can't say enough about this wonderful bit of paradise. Just perfect!
