“One to visit and it's free”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2011

This is worth a visit. We enjoyed walking around the park. It was very quiet, clean and peaceful. This is great place to escape the hustle and bustle and noise of the main street. There are plently of benchs to sit on. Loads of interesting plants and a very old olive tree. The were unique cyber points around the park which you could use to access information.

“nice garden, cool free internet booths!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 January 2011

this place is nice to escape the hustle and bustle to wonder around,
has free internet booths located amongst various plants trees and flowers.

Also has fountains in the centre, although nothing spectacular. Lots of cats wondering about as seems common in marrakech, but we like cats :)

“Lovely Exhibition”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 March 2010

When we visited in March 2010 there was an exhibition of large (2 metre square) photos from around the world on the theme of climate change and conservation. Legends in French and arabic. Well worth a look.
Without the exhibition this is still a pleasant park to wander through.

“Don't miss this!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2007

As Marrakech gets busier and busier it sometimes seems that there is no place to escape the noise and commotion and find any peace. Arsat Moulay Abdeslam, however, is 8 hectares of ancient parkland that despite its proximity to the bustle of the medina is quiet and refreshing and a place not to be missed! In recent years the park has had a 21st Century overhaul with several internet booths being installed which are very cheap to use, efficient and seemingly underused. The gardens themselves are magnificent and you can easily find a quiet corner to sit and admire the gardens. The palm trees here are some of the oldest in Marrakech and tower over the olive trees and oleander bushes with which they share space. At the back of the gardens you can also get very close up to the inside of the medina walls and see first hand how thick they are. The entrance to the gardens is immediately opposite the Ensemble Artisinal on Avenue Mohammed V.
