We just returned from a lovely stay at the Riad Noir D'Ivoire. Although our time there was too brief (only 2 nights) , everything was done to make us comfortable and relaxed. The Riad itself is simply stunning, the rooms unique, and it will be my first choice of accomodation on our next trip to Marrakech. If you are a cat lover (like me) you will fall in love with darling Poppy, or any of the other gorgeous felines who make the place really feel like home. Thank you Jill, Damien and your amazing staff for everything.

We recently stayed here as part of a surprise wedding / 40th Birthday party, what can I say that hasn't been said? The Riad is simply exquisite, breathtaking and Jill and her staff could not make you more welcome. More than anything though was the effort everyone went to to make John and Wendys special day more special - every detail was thought out in meticulous fashion. We stayed for our last two days in the Tarmadot and in all honesty the RIad was more relaxing and certainly better staffed - wonderful.

This really is a quite exceptional place. Stayed here with my wife, my brother and his wife and my parents. Found it on the internet so it was a stab in the dark. We were thrilled. The place is stunning, the staff fantastic and the food delicious. Jill and Damian could not be more helpful. They even supply guests with a local mobile phone in case they get lost in the maze of allyways which lead to the riad. Go - it's wonderful.

We have just returned from a wonderful long weekend stay at the noir d'ivoire. It is a hidden treasure amongst the winding alleyways of the medina. When the door is opened, it is breathtaking to see what is inside. Jill. the owner, has restored the riad with such elegance, sourcing many beautiful items and furnishings locally. The service is incredible - nothing is too much trouble for them. Someone will walk with you through the chaotic medina if you are not sure of the way, or walk you to the main road to meet a taxi, and be waiting again when you return.

Jill and Damian organised everything we needed to make the trip so memorable, restaurants, a camel safari and a very detailed plan of how to shop in the souks, with information on addresses for special shops that you would never find normally. We also had our first evening dinner at the riad by the candlelit pool, which was delicious and very romantic.

We stayed in the camel suite, which was spacious and beautiful with a very comfortable bed. A tagine full of nuts and apricots was refilled daily.

Don't miss the hammam treatment - you can do it as a couple, its great fun - and finish with the most wonderful massage.

On the night of our anniversary, we returned to our room to find candles and rose petals had been laid out! So delightful!

Very sad to leave, with lovely couscous the donkey carrying our luggage - we will be back very soon! x x x x x

Having never been to Marrakech, the decission to go into the madenia or to an outside hotel was difficult but once made I am certain that we could not have gone any where better.

Hospitallity was nothing short of excellent.

My wife and I chose to hold our wedding ceremony at Noir d'Ivoire in September this year. When we began looking for a venue and we walked into Jill's riad for the first time we were blown away. We've continued to be intoxicated by it every time we have returned since.

Pictures cannot do it justice. It isn't just the way it looks, the riad just makes you feel so happy, relaxed and at peace. You are surrounded by luxury but always feel completely at home. And all of this before Jill and Damien turned Noir d'Ivoir into our unforgettable wedding venue. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting, everything was created for us beautifully, with elegance and style - knowing exactly what would work for us and our wedding party. We'll never forget the look of joy and wonder on our guests faces as they walked in for the first time!

Nothing is too much trouble here. The calm and peaceful approach of Jill, Damien and every single member of staff is perfect. We couldn't recommend staying here, or getting married here, more highly. Thank you so much for making our wedding such an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to come back for our anniversary!
