We had a wonderful break in Marrakech made even more splendid by staying at the Riad d'Ivoire, from my first contact with Jill everything was made effortless from the reservations to the transfers from the airport and organising dinners out. I had the most enjoyable and magical birthday I have ever had made even more special through the thoughtfulness of Jill .
The Riad is a superb oasis of calm in the middle of the Medina. Luxury and comfort along with a willingness to please, nothing was to much for the staff who were all fantastic. Our suite with log fire was very romantic.
I went with my husband and daughter and her husband and from arriving to leaving the whole trip to Marrakech was enhanced by staying at the Riad. I would recommend staying their to anyone, everything is of such very high standard it was impeccable. I will never forget this holiday or meeting Jill it was a pleasure.

We never stayed in such a beautiful and relaxed hotel before. Very tasteful interior, two lovely patios with pools, a relaxing roof-deck,... It's a real gem and an oasis within the busy medina of Marrakech. Great and very kind staff and a wonderful owner, Jill, who gives the house a soul.

We will turn back definitely!

The Riad is tucked away in a maze of alleys and there's an amazing contrast from the bustle and dust of the medina as you enter the calm and beautifully decorated interior. There are so many quiet corners to relax we often felt as if we were the only guests even when the place was fully booked. Jill and Damien were very welcoming and keen to offer help and advice. Our room was stunning, the only tiny niggles being poor water pressure (most likely a general problem in the medina) and the air con not working (not a huge problem in October). We only ate there once but the food was good; a set meal rather than a menu. We'd highly recommend the Riad for a relaxing and romantic stay. Perhaps not so appropriate for families with young children, mainly because of the echoey spaces and potential disruption to other guests.

What a great place to start our honeymoon?! The riad organised a smooth airport pickup and we were met by the hotel staff and guided through the medina to the riad. The riad is a very magical place, and incredibly well run. The design and decoration is exquisite, with water features, opulent furnishings and full of surprise snugs with open fires. The rooms are stylish and traditional, with a contemporary twist. The highlights are: the incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly staff; lovely food; the Library; fantastic staff; and little Couscus the Donkey to carry your luggage! Two nights were not enough! Amazing place.

We stayed at the Riad Noir d'Ivoire for the October school holiday with our two young children and absolutely loved every moment there. Jill has created a divine hotel with the most beautiful interior. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, the pool area and inner courtyard truly exceptional. Both Jill and Damian were there for all of our questions and needs and everyone welcomed our two children (who loved the cats!). The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. Breakfast outside by the pool was my favourite part of the day. We were sad to leave! Thanks to everyone at Riad Noir d'Ivoire for a lovely time in a magical place. We shall return anon!

My husband, myself and our two children aged 5 and 3 have just come back from an absolutely magical stay at the Riad Noir. Jill and her staff run a truly fantastic establishment!
Nothing was too much trouble starting from asking what time we wanted to eat and what the children would like, to orginising henna painting for all of us, to recommending the best food stall to go to in the market. I really felt that I was staying with friends who took personal responsibility for our family having a good time.
The rooms were spotless and big, the food was fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful. Can not recommend it enough.

Located in a wonderful neighbourhood in the heart of the Marrakech Medina, walking through the narrow alleyways towards Riad Noir D'Ivoire you will feel instantly calm as soon as you enter this stunning riad. Jill and Damien are charming hosts and make you feel completely at home with the warmest welcome and attention to detail. The suites are exquistely decorated, with luxury products and beautiful touches everywhere you look. The menu offers a choice of delicious meals and the breakfasts are absolutely delicious!! The courtyard, plunge pools and rooftop terrace offer an oasis of calm from the hive of activity in the medina. The service was impeccable and this was by far our favourite riad! We really can't wait to return.
Thanks again to Jill and Damien and their wonderful team.
