“Good location, poor communication & trip”

Close to main square, friendly staff. We were not told about all the facilities when we arrived and only discovered, by chance, the lovely roof terrace on the last day of our stay. This was very upsetting as we had spent time, when we returned to the riad for a rest, in our dark Chocolat room, which was not worth the extra cost. Our stay would have been much better if we had known about the roof terrace from the start. Disappointing day trip organised by the riad - the driver was angry quite a lot of the time, (even though we agreed to do the trip he wanted to take us on and not the expected visit to Inlil, as the riad owner had said we could include on this tour). Also the driver did not take us to any villages as we had said we wanted; he had an argument with another driver whom he was trying to overtake dangerously, and we were left to go for walks alone along the road or track, which was lovely but not the guided experience we had expected or paid 150 Euros for. It was an unfortunate day as we returned from the disapponting trip to find our bedroom door had been left with the key in it, ie, unlocked, after the cleaner had been in. The riad was not as smart or large as we had expected from seeing the photos. But pleasant atmosphere, tasty breakfast and warm staff.
