6 nights Marrakech, 6 nights @ le 68 bar. Fabulous... When we first walked in, we were sold. Loved the place at first site. Small and elegant. Hicham, as charming as he was introduced himself and guided us to our seats. Rest of the week he made sure our evening was perfect. They have great wines and the food was delicious.

My boyfriend and I went there after searching online for tapas resaurants in Marrakech (have had maroccan food every night and we were craving something else, and a place with WINE) and were pleasantly surprised. The place is easy to find! We had 4 small tapas style dishes, all amazing and tasted over 3 types of wine and ended with two Apperol Spritzes.
I'm a restaurant manager myself and would 100% reccomend this place if you're looking for nice ambience, great service and top quality wine and food!
Loved it!
One note though- if you can't handle second hand smoking-this place isn't for you- lots of smoking inside.

Thank Rós K

This bar has a good selection of wine and food. We just had lots of entrees. For example buratto with tomatoes, stuffed mussels, sardines, octopus. Each dish was delicious. Beware the entrees are incredibly large so do not know how big the main courses are.

Located in the heart of the new town of Marrakesh, this is place might be perfect for those who tolerate a lot of second-hand smoke. The wine list was not that great, but it was okay, very limited in other drinks. We recommend you sit upstairs or outside in the patio, little less noisy and less cigarette smoke. The food menu was very limited, but their roasted chicken plate was tasty. The service lacked orientation, very slow, and too distracted. Overall, if you could avoid it, there are may be other nicer places in the neighborhood.

Dear Joseph, thanks for your comments. it is very important for us to read a californian statement of a small moroccan place. As i saw on your tripadvisor profile that you only rated Marrakech restaurant in 98% of your tripadvisor advice, with an average note of 1 or 2 points (even for jad mahal which the best place in Marrakech), i note that with 3 points we are better than others except la grillardière which was a surprise for me as it is only a touristic unknown local grill restaurant.
Regarding your comments, i allow me to answer you and may be invite you to come again in asking for me and i will be very interested to discuss all this points with you in order to improve all of these points.
1/ regarding the choice in our wine list. it seems you omit that we are the only place in marrakech to propose a wide range of wine by the glass (35 reference of different wine) and 72 reference of wine bottle from all over the world at very competitive prices (starting 170 dhs for imported wine...). What should we add in our wine list to satisfy you ?
2/ regarding the service, we have been awarded to be the best service place by the customers as our team is very quick and very professional and with a kind attention to all customers. You can note it in all review of customers since the start of our restaurant.
All members of our team are very involved in our wine bar and try to reach customers need as much as they can. I regret that your experience is different of 99% of our customers as this is the 1St strenght of our place. This point cannot be improved as i think my team gave 120% of his heart in our place.
3/ the food menu change every 4 months and is built with about 30 different small typically french dishes with imported cheese and charcuteries, that can be easily accorde to wine and with affordable prices for customers to avoid them spending that much money. What do you suggest to add in our menu to satisfy you ?
4/ Regarding the smoke, you are right. As you probably know as you rated only marrakech restaurant in your profile, smoke is allowed in morocco and it is very difficult to ask customers to avoid smoking in our wine bar. But you are right sometimes can be very smoky inside. I recommend you to be on our outside patio where you can have the great fun of the place and enjoy the free smell of street air. We will try to propose to customer that upstairs become a non smoking area that could solve the problem.
Thanks for you coming and may hope to see you soon to talk directly with you regarding your disapointment and drink a wine by the glass with you.
Best regards from me and all my team.

Great little wine bar and restaurant on a sidestreet in new town district - pretty easy to find - had a very relaxed evening there enjoying a glass of wine (or 2) and a salad. Sometimes it is good to have a bit of time away from the madness of the medina!
