“Excellent location, staff and sevice”

Just returned from the first two weeks of January stay at this Riad. The staff, Ouafa, Khadija and Abdo were excellent and would help you where ever possible. They kept the Riad clean at all times.
The riad is in an easy to find location in the Kasbah district inside the walled city and is an easy flat walk to nearly all places. If you do not want to walk there are plenty of taxis to hand. It has a total of five bedrooms, two on the ground floor and three on the first, arranged around a typical atrium with a lounge area on the ground floor, The roof area is a large terrace which is very tastefully set out with sun loungers, a seating area and some tables and chairs.
On the ground floor there is one large double bed room with bath/shower and one medium sized room with bath/shower. On the first floor there is one large double bed room that also has an occasional single bed and bath/shower, another large double room but with no bath only shower, and a medium double room with bath/shower and a external window (most rooms only have windows that look into the atrium).
The atrium is open to the sky although it did (sensibly) have a plastic cover over it to keep out rain which i should imagine is removed in the summer months.
The breakfast was include in the price and was quite substantial if you like a lot of bread/pancake/cake products. Plenty of hot coffee. The two girls cook all the breakfast items themselves, but i did find it all a bit "heavy". i ate breakfast inside as it was quite cool in the mornings but i expect it would be no problem to have breakfast on the roof terrace.
It soon got very hot on the roof (24-26C when i was there) so nice and private for a bit of sunbathing.
My only complaint would be that my bed lacked a conventional mattress and was therefore very hard.
Overall excellent staff, location and service, would highly recommend it.

Newly built and very clean. very large rooms and all have bathroom facilities. lovely freshly prepared breakfast provided.

Wafa the house keeper is helpful and speaks excellent French and Arabic but limited English.

The downside was that it is located in middle the red madina and very close to the markets, so when you come out of the house you better look both ways.
